Visited from Canada over the holidays and mangled my glasses. Stumbled upon this clinic where a kind gentleman quickly fixed the lost screw, asking only for a small donation to an animal charity. With only Canadian currency on me, I couldn't contribute. Nevertheless, he graciously and warmly wished me well and let me go. Truly exceptional.

I tried to get a PD measurement from them. Would not provide. Don't care if it 'belongs' to them. Then without waiting for a response, they rudely hung up the phone. I used to buy glasses from them, but won't again. Try for some better customer service, and, do work on being polite.

Dr. Gallagher was extremely welcoming and communicated very clearly about each part of my checkup. He helped with forms from out of state, and I’m glad I chose to visit him!

Lenses are not what you order, they cheat you out of your money selling you a name brand lens but giving you something completely different. Don't be fooled by these tricksters! I would also recommend looking at their facebook, its pretty clear it is in your best interest to seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Gallagher and the whole team are amazing! I was having eye and head pain and he fit me in right away, coming in earlier in the morning to see me. He did such a thorough evaluation and answered all my questions, explaining things better than any other eye doctor has. Dr. Gallagher and his team are so friendly and helpful, I would very much recommend this place!

I did not interact with the opticians and eye glass staff, but I can speak very highly of Dr. Gallagher. I am a Dartmouth student from Connecticut and had an issue with my eye when I was at school. I didn’t know any eye doctors in Hanover, and when I reached out to Dr. Gallagher’s office we was able to fit me in within a week to check it out and give me a full eye exam before the glasses store even opened. It was a much needed eye examination and Dr. Gallagher was incredibly kind and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor in Hanover.

The staff are very friendly, I agree. Friendly that is until you have an issue with the lenses they provide you. Then expect rudeness and indifference. They replaced my lenses once, and the second pair were worse than the first. I was told what else could I expect of them, and then they hung up the phone without so much as an apology or even a goodbye. I had been a customer of this establishment for 40+ years. Loyalty apparently counts for nothing at Hill Opticians.

Very friendly staff that creates a friendly and welcoming environment. Gallagher is a fantastically qualified doctor who treated me with respect and kindness throughout the visit. Helped diagnose my partial colour blindness more accurately and giving me recommendations on how to help with it. Great staff and a fantastic facility. Overall worthy of 5 stars.

Was in walking in Hanover today and since I keep forgetting to call Hill Opticians and Dr Gallagher's office to make an appointment I stopped in. So glad I did. Bob adjusted my glasses while I was making my appointment with Ginny. Glad I stopped in! If you are in need of an eye exam, Dr Gallagher is outstanding; very knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of frames and unbeatable customer service!

I've been going to Hills for decades, and went back last week with a new prescription, which was ready in less than a week. They have a wide selection of frames. My lenses are complex, but they've always been perfect for me, and perfectly adjusted.
