I moved my wife down to Chesapeake from Londonderry NH in July of 2020 and rented a penske truck so many problems before we even go started. Had the truck loaded and realized it had major leaks had to bring it to have it repaired 2 and a half hours later they said it was good to go. Not so much hit a few storms heading south and there was water damage done to our furniture! That is just one instance that was resolved. But I rented another truck from Penske In December of 2020 to move the rest of our stuff down from N.H. to Chesapeake VA with no issues at all. So then when all was said and done with that a mysterious $80 dollar charge shows up on my credit card! I was taken back a little because I returned the truck just as I received it probably a little cleaner keep in mind this is the second move in December 2021! Well the $80 charge was from July for going through a toll on the George Washington Bridge that I failed to pay??? The toll itself they claimed was $60 but they add $20 for admin bs fee? They refunded the $20 bs fee but I have yet to find a toll anywhere in this country that is $60??? Every avenue of customer service at Penske was very rude! I was even told to be more responsible and pay my dues.....I WILL NEVER USE PENSKE AGAIN THIS WAS 7 MONTHS AGO??? BEWARE By the way this is the first ever review I have ever posted about any company that's how fired up I am! Lucien K Boulanger

Inspection crew needs to be checked on. They placed sign in truck saying truck was inspected and fridge worked. This was not the case. Service department said it would take two hours to repair. Let me down. Had to take truck without fridge. Asked for discount due to the inconvenience of not having what was ordered and was told no.

Booked a truck a week in advance and these idiots called me a half hour before I was supposed to pick it up to tell me it want available
