“What a wonderful thrift shop! I only found it within the past year, and I travel regularly from Hampton to leave my donations and to shop there. I love its carefully displayed quality merchandise, its welcoming and helpful staff, and its commitment to the community. I used to shop in a once great Hooksett Goodwill. No longer. I find great treasures at Corey's Closet, not at Goodwill. My only wish for Corey's Closet is that it had a larger store with expanded parking. I am hopeful that it soon will.”

“The experience of Goodwill bin shopping was a lot of fun. It can be a bit confusing if you're a newbie but you can find a lot of great deals. Just watch out for the workers. When they start pulling bins from the floor, everyone should get behind the lines until new carts are brought in. When the workers give the signal, GO GET THEM DEALS! Some people compare it to dumpster diving while others think of it as a treasure hunt. And don't forget to check out the regular store next door. Super clean and organized!”

“First time at this store & absolutely loved it there! Customer service was amazing & felt so greeted & welcomed. Awesome picks for sure for everyone in the family! Better than savers, goodwill & Salvation Army. Check it out yourself, you won’t be disappointed!”

“I always find the best treasures and deals here and the employees are friendly and helpful. I've seen some customers who were rude and nasty so that's probably why the bad reviews. I've always gotten the help I needed”

“This store has made noticeable improvements and it's nice to see. The corner of the store that used to be junky kids toys is gone and there are some interesting finds that have replaced it (like a trombone, standing mixer, an old audio tape recorder) Fun stuff that you used to expect to see in a Goodwill but not as of late. They weren't priced overtly cheap but it keeps that section nicely decorated and fun to look at which is the point.I was going to complain about the small mens clothing section but the variety is solid with more the focus on quality and not quantity. So what if women have 50 racks of clothes to choose from and men have 3, it's fine. The staff cares about what they do and it shows in there. Great job guys!”

“Perhaps this Salvation Army is not pristine like some stores, but they are also in a very OLD building (Garage, warehouse?) They give so much back to the community right here in Concord, unlike some other thrift stores with million dollar budgets which pay their CFO's, CEOs. I appreciate the fact that this store gives back until it hurts. This store is run on a tiny budget. The higher-ups do not get paid massive 6 figure incomes (and more) as the larger, well known thrift stores. If they did, they could afford nicer stores which are would be pristine. Now SOME OTHER thrift stores are skimming off the top to sell all their BEST donations on e-commerce (on-line), rather than allowing the people right here in our own neighborhood to get the benefit of better items. Salvation Army Does a FANTASTIC job, ALL AROUND! Thank you for being the best donation recipient.....and a REAL NON PROFIT store!”

“Goodwill provides a treasure trove of secondhand items, catering to various tastes and needs. The store's organization varies; some branches are neat and well-arranged, while others feel cluttered. Bargain hunters will delight in the affordable prices for clothing, furniture, books, and more. However, product quality can be hit or miss. Shopping at Goodwill requires patience and a keen eye. The thrill of discovering unique finds compensates for the lack of consistency. Donations to Goodwill support a noble cause, adding to the appeal. Overall, it's a mixed bag – a place where patient shoppers can unearth hidden gems amidst the chaos.”

“I've always loved this place. The prices are great, and you do find some really cute things. What I think people don't see is that this store is in a bad part of the city, there are a lot of rude people that come in, so sometimes it's hard to keep a smile on your face. Also, there is sometimes things like masks in the fitting rooms and other trash, but I know they can't always get to that immediately when people drop it in there. It's a busy place sometimes and they're only human, it doesn't help when people are consistently in and out of the fitting rooms by themselves. Another thing people don't understand is everybody has their own personal idea of "style" and "what's hot". Your idea of something really cute might be different from what teens/young adults are actually into, and you can't really blame the employees if they pass on it. They have their own personal style too. Don't expect to drive over an hour and make hundreds of dollars, you get around $6 for a pair of jeans, a dollar or less for jewelery (depending on the item), maybe a few dollars for a top... it's a used resell store. You can't expect to make a fortune. They turn down items if they have an odor or are covered in fur because all the clothing goes directly to the floor. All they ask is you wash everything beforehand and it makes the buying process so much easier and cleaner. There's a lot of misconceptions about this place, but it's overall a solid business and they're doing their best. It's a very opinionated store when it comes to buying because you can't just force people to like the same things as you, everybody's different. I'm only giving 4 stars because it is a bunch of teenagers hired there that do occasionally give attitude, but I feel like I can't really blame them with how they are treated on a daily basis by people who come in and yell at them just because they didn't take the extra step to wash their clothes ahead of time. Call ahead if you REALLY wanna know what they're taking, and don't be disappointed if your clothes aren't totally in style to the specific person sorting through your items. Like I said, they're only human and go through so much. Retail sucks, give them a smile and be kind.”
