We hired this company to move use less then 50 miles. They were supposed to have 4 people to move us, and we paid for 2-days moving, and in that short move, the damaged my Grandmothers Duncan Phyfe Drum table, they broke 2 of the 4 legs, and it can't be repaired. This table has been in my family for over 80 years. It would cost me over $600 to purchase a new base for the table and that ruins the value of the original value of the table. They also broke our 52-inch LCD TV, and our leather couch. But only offered $78 in damage reimbursement because we didn't purchase their additional insurance. So, if you use this company, don't move anything that's worth anything important. Because you won't get anything delivered that's not in pieces. They trash irreplicable items.

I tried contacting Sean and Jordyn several times to resolve my issues but no one returned my ten phone calls/emails over a 2 month period (this is no exaggeration). So I tried to get some sort of resolution through the BBB but this approach was disappointing at best. Not only did Allied/ABC (apparently these are not one in the same?!?!) lie in their response to the BBB but they actually stated that they do not back the work of the subcontractors they hire. Seriously?!?! That is the worst business model ever! So now I am left with leaving negative reviews on as many sights as possible. Two main issues: 1. The communication on the final delivery to Raleigh, NC was absent. We were renting an apartment until we bought a home to have our stuff delivered to. Per instructions from our Allied rep, we scheduled delivery two weeks out. We requested 9/13 and he said it would be 9/13 or 9/14 and would confirm as we got closer to the date. We were not made aware that our delivery would not be 9/13 or 9/14 until the Sunday prior. Delivery to our NC address did not happen for another week (9/21). As such we were required to rent an extra week. There was verbal agreement that ABC would reimburse us for this week. 2. They charged a credit card without our permission and with out a final invoice. At the time we didn't think to stop payment because "certainly they would provide an invoice after the fact". Buyer beware - get everything in writing and do not allow payment to be processed until the invoice is in hand,

Items missing, claim denied, no response We hired ABC for a cross country move. On arrival some items were missing and the driver was informed. He made a phone call and stated that our rug was still on a rack at the warehouse. He gave instructions on submitting a claim, which we followed. The claim was denied for no evidence of a loss. As stated on our claim, we're not looking for monetary compensation - we want the rug shipped, and for someone to look through the warehouse for the other items. Since the claim was denied a month ago we have contacted the insurance company, our customer service rep Jordyn M at ABC, and the manager Chris H of ABC, and no one has responded to any emails or phone calls. We paid for zero deductible replacement insurance, don't understand why the claim was denied, and can't get more information about it. We have legs here for a shelving unit but half of the shelves themselves are missing, in a size that is no longer made. The missing rug and pad match our upholstered furniture. We feel shocked to be treated so poorly. Our cost of replacing our items would be lower than the cost of hiring an attorney to pursue this, which ABC must realize since they have decided that we don't merit any explanation or even the courtesy of a response. Hire someone else if your care about your belongings.

This is about ABC moving affiliate Allen and Coles. A team of untrained party kids who were doing shots on the job, pried furniture apart, dropped things down the ramp, gashed walls, didn’t wrap things or lift properly, etc descended on my house to make what should’ve been a 2 day move fit in to one day. Things that were supposed to go upstairs went downstairs, we found broken things, hardware was lost, and the foreman spent 15 min puking in my bathroom. Their management didn’t care and in fact, their claims coordinator was one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever encountered.

I see that others have written poor reviews, but our experience with ABC Moving and Storage (Hudson/Leominster MA) was entirely positive. We were quoted a competitive price by David (our salesperson) and ended up coming in at a slightly lower price when all was said and done. Moving occurred on-time and was handled efficiently. Delivery was on-time, and we are particularly grateful to Regina in the office and Kevin (our driver), who worked with us to arrange a convenient delivery time when we were faced with an unexpected family emergency. It feels a bit unsettling when a crew of guys start moving all your belongings into a huge truck, and it might have helped if someone had spent a few extra minutes talking with us about the process at the start of our moving day. But honestly, these guys knew what they were doing! The entire crew worked hard. Nothing was damaged or lost. Everyone was polite. All in all, we received excellent service on both ends.

We made an interstate moving reservation, then called a couple weeks before to confirm morning pickup. The day before the move, they acted like we never mentioned morning pickup (though we clarified when making the reservation and a reminder call). They never confirmed a time/date and every call I made went unanswered by Tonya.

Working with Mr. Reddington took the stress out of moving! He has great communication skills and knew the moving business better than anybody else we talked to. I'm very happy we chose to move with ABC ad more happy that Mr. Reddington was there to help us. I would strongly recommend moving with them!

PHENOMENAL!!!! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with ABC Moving & Storage!!! They moved me from Nashua, NH to New Port Richey, FL, and were amazing from start to finish! Sean came over to my house on the first visit and spent a good half hour going over everything with a fine-toothed comb before he took inventory of my house. He was so thorough and detail-oriented, I didn't bother to look any further. The move was great! My driver, Patrick, was amazing. Hard working, funny, and friendly. I've already recommended them to someone else who wants to move from Mass. to Florida. Wish I could give 10 stars.

Dear Mark: I would like Thank you and Charlotte and the ABC Allied Team for our recent move to So. Carolina. We appreciate how easy and smooth you made a stressful process. We also appreciate that the cost estimate came in under estimate. Thank you again, Teresa

Recently I had to move to Charlottesville, VA for a new job. My employer required me to get three estimates before picking a mover, and even though ABC's price was a little bit higher, we selected them because we were more comfortable with how they approached our move. Our consultant, Sean Reddington, spent a lot of time with us reviewing our options, outlining the process and helping us stay within our budget. When moving day came, everything happened like he said it would. Matt, our driver was very nice and professional, and even though we were on the third floor, he worked really hard to get everything where it needed to go without complaint. The truck came to Charlottesville on time and delivery was great. Nothing was broken or damaged - we were very happy! Highly recommend.
