“Our daughter had a wonderful experience at the summer art camp! I can’t say enough about the attention to detail, even prior to the start of the camp. Masks were worn, and every precaution was taken to make sure the children and staff were safe. A storm passed through in the middle of the week and the day had to be cancelled, but supplies were sent home for a zoom day that the kids will enjoy in a couple of weeks to make up for it! The projects that the children completed throughout the week were amazing! My daughter was so proud of each and every one and couldn’t wait to show us. At the end of the week we were presented with a big box of her accomplishments!”

“Mr. and Mrs. Shomaker are just lovely and very welcoming. They are a wealth of knowledge and have a wealth of history preserved here. They have raised funds to preserve and archive the town of Jackson and their museum is a host of artists renditions of the white mountains. (ask them about the library across the street!) 19th to 21st century art is here and there’s a special exhibit upstairs that you should see that focuses on 19th century art from women specifically, inspired by the region. The museum is free but there’s a donation bin that is worth your consideration. People that do this kind of work (what the Shomakers do) are invaluable, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate those that act to preserve the past. I expect I’ll be coming back here first chance I get next time I’m passing through.”
