Amazing wealth of knowledge and service information and factory parts. Not a TV shop, but a very detailed audio store

This is not a store. This is a audiophile’s closet, that owns the property and lost interest many moons ago. Probably some gold somewhere but who knows? Eye sore/Junk shop.

If you need a sterile Best Buy experience with a salesperson who's smiling at you simply to get a sale (who possesses just enough knowledge not to get fired)- well then go there. Or if you're a sensitive hipster who hates your parents (and your elders) and can't tolerate a bit of old school, take no bull**** attitude, maybe find a circuit city still in existence. But, for an honest shopping experience in an honest little shop - check this place out. Unless you're not on good terms with your dad of course - you may get triggered.

I was in town today shopping around and saw the "HiFi" lights, figured I'd take a look and see what I could find. The window has a bunch of 70's-80's equipment which piqued my interest. After knocking on the door I was greeted by who I can imagine was the owner, asking what I was looking for. Not necessarily knowing since sometimes you happen upon unexpected treasure in such a place, I simply said "I'm not sure, I'd love to browse though" stating I like used equipment (something I'd figure they'd have after seeing a 70's Shure microphone mixer in the window). He scoffed and said "We only deal in new equipment" and went on to explain how he hates dealing with customer complaints on used gear. After saying that I'd love to browse even new stock, it was becoming very apparent that this man had no interest in anyone looking at anything he had in his store. I bid him a good day and walked away from his store with a few hundred dollars in my pocket, something this man obviously didn't want. This explains why he has antiquated equipment in his window as "new", as I'm sure is very difficult to sell things to people with that awful demeanor. Don't even bother going, very rude

Wonderful experience....fulfills all my expectations of what a premium stereo and electronics store should be. Actually it's more than a store...it's an experience. The owner is an erudite and polished purveyor of stereo equipment, product/industry knowledge and local lore (political and personal). One of the few true Yankee based integrity shops left in the Keene area. Plus, he eschews the dreaded "Covid-19 mask." Keep on keeping on Clayton.

Is this even a store? You should know, a decrepit, Old and rude thing lives in this shop. Not sure if it’s a some sort of survival game when you walk in, or if your supposed look through the piles of old newspapers and 70’s equipment. The “employee” sounds like he knows allot, but how the store is run tells a different story.

Been going there since it opened. Always delighted. What I bought 50 years ago there is still running great.

This is not a store; It is a portal through time back to when the men inside an electronics store actually knew something about electronics.

This is literally the worst Hifi store I have ever been to. The owner is rude, condescending and the store looks like an episode of Hoarders. I cannot imagine how it stays open.
