Long story short: best vet experience I've ever had in my long lifetime of caring for senior cats with IBD, diabetes, and kidney failure. Dr. Kim Allsopp is absolutely terrific - exactly the kind of vet I've always wished for but never found when I had to make hard decisions. She was kind and soothing for both my kitty and me, and went through bloodwork results clearly, so I understood what they might mean. She met my goals and concerns beautifully, putting together a treatment plan for my senior cat that meets what I hoped for. I'll give two examples of how rare Dr. Kim's approach is: I was told by another vet in town that my cat had Stage 4 kidney failure and my only options were euthanasia or to take her to Concord to a specialist. This same vet did not do an ultrasound to check for cancer or a kidney stone (or if one was done, it was never put into my cat's records), and those tests completely change how you would treat the cat. Also, the other vet told me to euthanize based on just two elevated kidney values, but when Dr. Kim went through how a cat's body systems interact, it was clear that we don't yet know exactly what potential for improvement exists. It's very possible my cat is Stage 2 or 3 in kidney disease, not Stage 4 - and regardless of the stage, there are ways to make renal kitties comfortable and buy them time. Tonight, thanks to Dr. Kim, my cat is feeling better than she has in a month. I also want to mention Abbie Black, the vet assistant, who could not have been more understanding and kind during a stressful, hard time for me and my cat. I hope these specifics help anyone looking for a great local vet to know what they can expect at Court Street. Their prices are moderate, but I myself would pay much more to get this kind of outstanding, rare, quality vet care. And again, I speak as someone who has been to at least 30 vets over time. Believe me, this kind of care makes all the difference.

Took both my cats here, first one to be put down (old boy) second for a routine check-up. They took great care of my pets, and saw me in some low moments during the old guy's time..However, they quoted me some dental work on the second cat that was about 3.5 times higher than the second place I called. I wish I could stick with this place for the care provided, but paying 300 for a tooth extraction vs 1100 definitely sounds more reasonable. I even brought the quote to another vet who was shocked at all the "extra" charges, like anesthetic monitoring.. which you'd think would be included in the 250.00 dollar anesthesia charge, but nope! Alas, despite wanting to stay here, I will be venturing onward.

It was a little expensive, honestly worth the money! I highly recommend them. Our 3 Chihuahua/Terriers mixes see them yearly. We even travel from Boston for their services!

My kitten was sick and I called to see if there was any available appointments, they were able to get me in that day for treatment. Staff seemed kind over the phone and in person. Dr. Miller was very thorough, straightforward, and friendly. I have had bad experiences with Cheshire Animal Hospital, but so far, this seems like a good place to go. I have seen negative reviews but my experience was not negative at all. Lil G was purring for them

Just met with Dr. L, she was fantastic, extremely attentive to my concerns and she offered a reasonable, smart plan for me to try with our darling dog. Excellent care, she answered all of my questions. Front staff very friendly and professional too!

My pets have been very happy with this office. Its the 3rd one they have gone to and there is not fighting with them to get them to go in like the last two vets. I figure my pets are the patients if they are happy, i am happy.

This place has gone all the way down-hill, quickly..I used to love bringing my dog in. I even kept using this practice when I moved an hr away. But it's been deteriorating for the last few years & at this point I'd rather have no vet..The assistant Willow is SO rude, whether shes rolling her eyes at you in person or making snarky comments over the phone.Prices skyrocketed, which they have many excuses for that aren't realistic. (If prices of supplies went up like they claim, why did they charging me triple what the emergency vet did to run LESS tests????)If you haven't yet, please do not waste your time and money here!!!

I'm writing this review to try to cancel out one that I had written previously, since I can't seem to figure out how to change that one. I had a pretty bad experience with the receptionist, but Dr Russet called me and personally apologized and reviewed the issues. She was fantastic, and I really appreciated the way she responded to my concerns. It says a lot about a business.

I have read the positive and negative reviews as I always do. Words can not express the appreciation I have for Dr. Miller and ALL of the staff I have had the pleasure to deal with over the past year with my 5 (now 4 cats). I had the unfortunate decision to allow my oldest to pass recently. Dr Miller and I had covered all reasonable options for her knowing I was more interested in quality of life not quantity of life. All of the staff members understood and were supportive. In the process of taking care of my oldest. I also brought the other 4 in for exams and shots. One of these has a nick name of Murder Paws…. I made sure the entire staff knew she was not to be trusted. Well I felt like a fool when she actually purred during the exam with Dr. Miller.I must also express my appreciation for the compassion and professionalism I experienced with the last day of my beloved oldest. I have had to put down a number of fur babies in my 55+ years. My Nala was a very special girl. The staff were compassionate, patient and empathetic.. I did not know what to expect when my husband picked up her remains. What I received was a true validation of what her life was to me and my family. She came back to me in a beautiful carved box with a medallion of her paw print .More than I had ever expected and this shows the appreciation of how much our fur babies mean to us! Thank you to Court Street Veterinary and Greener pastures for the amazing attention to detail I for one needed in my loss.

Overpriced, incompetent, and rude. After they misdiagnosed my dog, they would not refund even a portion of the nearly $800 bill. The manager, Tim Russett, was very disrespectful on the phone. Additionally, if you need several forms signed for international pet travel they will not provide that service. I would not recommend this clinic. They may respond to this critique, but there is no hiding the pattern of negative reviews.

Our first visit was okay... the Front desk receptionists both were a little rude, and didn't really seem like they wanted to be there or help. I was kind of embarrassed when I didn't know my vets name because I couldn't see her name tag and she never introduced herself. We have another vet visit with them in a couple weeks, hopefully second time around is better. Overall pricing is pretty affordable.

Dr. Russett and the staff at Court Street Vet are an amazing, caring team. They are truly caring and dedicated to their patients and their families. I can't recommend her and her team enough and Kodi, Kasey and Willow give them 5 Paws as well.
