Didn’t give my child a chance at the drivers test! The woman was anxious herself! Don’t take your driving test here the person unfairly judges and will not let your child or you be anxious even though she is! No second chances and no empathy to realize the child is nervous!

I have been dealing with DMVs in multiple states since 1973. NEVER have I encountered such rudeness and petty behavior, not to mention a totally disorganized and chaotic system.I witnessed 3 separate elder gentlemen being talked down to and scolded for not understanding the process. Those women should be ashamed of themselves and I hope Karma slaps them in the face HARD when they are old and their eyesight and hearing have failed. This office must be where the stereotype of government workers started.

Unreasonable "standards" for even trying to transfer an ID card from MA to NH. Extremely petty with even NH state and county issued paperwork as unacceptable due to very small differences in wording on affidavit etc. Plenty of current MA and federal docs shown. This shouldn't have to be a run-atound. They do it on purpose, no question at all.

Handling customers expeditiously is not rocket science. Hundreds of thousands of businesses do it every day. It almost seems like the state was deliberately trying to create the most inefficient, disorganized, confusing system it possibly could. Prepare to burn up some of your life.

Went Friday afternoon. Very few people waiting and everyone there was very pleasant, informative and worked quickly. Especially Julie and Sue- terrific employees.

Made an appointment online and brought the requested paperwork. In and out without a problem. They told me 30-40 days for the permanent license to arrive, temporary is good for 60 days. Told to call at 45 days if it has not arrived.

UPDATE : The new DMV was very efficient and pleasant to deal with. LikeI felt like they actually cared about the job they were doing. What a turn around. Not acceptable to have to wait over an hour to to register a vehicle.I wish I could have given a negative number..

Renewed my license, over 50 days and hard copy has not arrived. Every time I call i wait 45 minutes - 1/12 hours to be connected. Soon as im connected i get hung up on. How about you hire more people so i don't waste my life away.

What a joke of a DMV. If you have the time go somewhere else. 2+ hours for a license renewal.

There for a couple of things without an appointment and was helped in a timely manner by a knowledgeable, friendly & professional employee. Such a positive experience I asked if they had a customer feedback system in place (with a smile on my face). She thanked me & handed me a card that I completed , sealed & returned before leaving. A couple wks later I received a brief letter of appreciation from NHDMV.

Well this new system is a joke. Would be a lot quicker to drive to concord and get a license renewal. Thanks for wasting my time

I sat around here and waited for 3 hours for a simple license transfer. The building emptied and filled back up 3 times before they finally called me. Also I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to receive a hard copy of my license in the mail but here we are on week 8 and still no license. To top it all off when I try to order a duplicate license on their website it doesn’t even let me type in my address. Is this how poorly this state is ran? Should I do myself a favor and just move back to where I came from before wasting too much time here? I could probably move to another state and get my license there before the dummies running the NH DMV could get me mine. Competence aside though the people were nice during my visit there.

They do not allow walk-ins for the motorcycle permit. They are appointment only. regardless of what it says on their website. You are so not allowed to bring your kids ( mine is 2) for any written tests.

If you actually take the time to look at the website and bring ORIGINAL copies of requested documents, you'll be fine. Make an appointment, bring your paperwork. I was in and out in 20 minutes.
