Rating still stands after three years. I guess it speaks volumes when Amazon can deliver a package better than you guys. Next time have your carrier walk the extra 30 feet and deliver my package to my door. Not at my mail box which is literally on the side of Main Street. An ideal place for package thieves. And on top of that you stuffed and oversized package into my mail box which crushed all the paper mail that was in there and was extremely difficult to remove. Avoid this place if you can.

A big thank you! My mail person is so thoughtful. She taps at my door when a package has arrived. She lets me know when something important is in my mailbox by raising the red flag. So thankful!

Let's face it, you're rarely going to see a positive review of USPS. This particular branch, though, has small town problems. They realize they're the only game in town and they treat customers that way. The shrew who seems to be in charge is a good one for spouting "policy" answers to humane problems. Case in point: a delivery in the holiday season was left in my mailbox by a 3rd-party shipper. That's illegal, they can't do it. When they did so, they raised the 'outgoing mail' flag on my mailbox. USPS took the package and left me a slip for it the next day saying I owed $11.75. I went to retrieve the package, showing the photo that had been taken by the shipper, explaining what had gone wrong (they did what they were supposed to, but it was a reasonable mistake - I just wanted my package that I had already paid to ship. I was told I still needed to pay the $11.75 for the package that had been delivered, then removed by USPS, and was given a mini-lecture about the illegality of what the shipper had done. I explained that I knew that but that it was their error, not mine. Charging me for a package I've already paid to have delivered is extortion. The shrew then TRIPLES down lecturing me further that only myself and USPS are allowed to touch my mailbox for that reason. Sound ridiculous, yet? Just give me my damned package! It is worth noting that prior issues with this USPS office have included damaged mail from being crammed into the box (so much so that I replaced the box with an oversized mailbox), mail arriving opened, and mail frequently delivered that goes to another, nearby address (they have also received our mail). Those issues allegedly led to the dismissal of an employee (though our two drivers have been the same for most of the 10 years we've lived here), and the Post Master General dealing directly with my wife. Amid a political climate where USPS is basically fighting for its life, the woman that seems to run this office treats customers like incarcerated children who need to be lectured. It's disgusting and has not shown any improvement over the last ten years. But what is the recourse? There is none, so I Yelp. It'd be nice if businesses, even soft monopolies like USPS, paid attention to this feedback and addressed the issues.

Go elsewhere!! ... Poor customer service and they overcharge for sending out packages compared to other usps locations. Also sent a package 2-day priority, which was suppose to arrive on 08/03 and the tracking now says it won’t be there until Thursday 08/06 ( a complete week from when it was sent). First time in my life a package did not arrive within the 2-day window.

Everyone that works there is always so nice! Even when someone doesn't know my PO Box and put my physical address on the envelope .... they still put it in my PO Box. And when packages are delivered by UPS, DAHL, or FedEx to the PO instead of my physical address which is usually also on my packages, they still accept it for me! Thank you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All :)

There is a reason the postal office is always bankrupt, and this office is part of the problem. I have ordered return labels offline many times and since this office is close to where I live, I tried to return a package with a return postage here but they will not accept. So I had to drive to Epping office to get a little better service. If you have the option to use FedEx or Ups I would. Thank you for always letting me down but than again I'm use to it.
