I set up an account in person at the Laconia branch. The manager came over to me as I talked to the teller and helped me until everything was in place. There are very good people who were willing to help me at this branch.

Me and my brother came in at 4:20pm so he could open a account. They close at 5pm. 1 lady was clocking out and they wouldnt open a account for him. There was only 1 other person being helped. I've opened many accounts it doesn't take that long. Honestly I used to love them but I probably won't come back to this location. I'll go to Franklin.

Been with SCU for few yrs now and haven’t had any issues they are better then most other banks with there hidden fees scu has none an that is what’s great about them thank you yer services

Worst banking experience I have ever had. Only 3 months ago I opened a checking with overdraft protection (to catch any Bill's that may have "crossed in the mail"). The overdraft didn't kick in and I wound up with a late mortgage payment, I went to the branch and was told it was my fault and that's not how their overdraft protection works. As if today I will NEVER do business here again, I immediately closed my accounts and took my business elsewhere. Very disappointed in every aspect.My credit score went down over 50 points and I was refused a refi for my house because of this and you appreciate my time and hope you get another chance? This is insulting beyond words ..

Excellent service. Refunded 4 fees over a 1 week period, which I was charged unexpectedly for issues that I was unaware would result in a fee. $95 total.24 arm in Laconia did not accept deposits today for some reason related to maintenance, according to the call center.The rep sent me 45 minutes away to Manchester to make my late night deposit, all the white there is one 7 miles from me in the next town which the rep was unaware of because she made her search criteria too narrow.

I have been banking with SFCU for two years for my personal and business, the people are friendly and professional. The online banking portal has it ocassional glitch here and there, only disappointment is their call center, anything service related expect and plan for hours of waiting on hold.
