Weeks Memorial Library has always served the needs of the local population, in offering diverse educational programs of high quality. Simply because some people are uncomfortable with certain, pertinent subject matter does not preclude the Library to restrict freedom of thought. No one is forcing anyone to attend any offerings. Simply stay away.Like it or not, Sexual orientation can take many forms. So I ask, who are any one of us to judge?Education is best path to knowledge, understanding and wisdom. And to restrict Library use to Lancaster residents only? Terrible idea! Each regional library offers varying programs for the Public. We have a regional school system.Libraries are the vessels of Knowledge. Please give these types of issues serious thought before either succumbing to loud, angry, knee-jerk reactions to provocative subjects that make people uncomfortable. Think of the Children who are trying to learn who they are, understand themselves and the World at large. Thank you.Paula Murphy & Ruby the school Therapy Dog

I grew up getting books from this library every week as a kid. They have a fantastic selection of books, and some beautiful reading rooms.

This is such a nice library. Not the biggest, but it's very clean.
