I had a very nice experience with this bank. This past Saturday I needed to have some papers notarized. I tried to find a Notary at 5 or 6 different places in the upper valley, including my own bank, but had no luck. I was driving past the Citizen's Bank in West Leb and noticed the lights on and people coming in and out so I thought I'd see if they could help me. After a brief wait, I met with Branch Manager, Brian Cheddar. Even though the bank was busy that morning, and I don't have my accounts with Citizens Bank, he was still willing to help me out. Thank you again Brian for the great customer service. It was nice meeting you and I wish you much success with your Branch Office in West Lebanon, NH!

This bank is the absolute WORST!!! I have been trying to simply receive a statement for my deceased mother's account as the state appointed administrator for her estate for over 2 weeks. I have provided all necessary documents and still have not received this VERY simple item. Brian Cheddar is the branch manager who will not reply to my emails or my phone message. I have called the corporate number to try to get assistance and all they tell me to do is call the branch! DO NOT USE THIS BANK. Go to a local bank or credit union!!!

Unreasonable. Citizens values “procedure” over customer service. Refused to cash my Savings Bond. I closed my account and took my bond to another bank. Other bank cashed it immediately. Not for Citizens.

Closed and they took all the atms out. How can you deposit money when all your locations atms are broken or removed?

Called to see if I needed an appointment to this bank as the one in Claremont said that is what they do now in order to talk with someone about an account that I am to be out on.I was told that in life you need an appointment, we’ll my 3 local banks don’t require an appointment so I let her know that once they get the account situated I will be pulling the money out and going to a bank that doesn’t require you to make an appointment about your account!!!

I was treated very poorly by the tellers when I tried to cash a personal check drawn from their Bank. They refused to honour a check that was for ten bucks. They wanted to charge me 7 to cash it or asked me to take it somewhere else even though it was theirs. Does that mean anyone who has an account there has to write checks for 7 over to pay a bill accurately?
