I was traveling from VA to NH to visit family. I wanted to buy my child his Christmas present so I went to the Game stop in this particular game stop. They said that they had an item but they had to mail it to me in va and I said ok so I paid for it $288. While I am driving home to va same evening I received an email that my order is cancelled this was 12/20/23. I called this store immediately and they said that they can’t do anything about it but to call the corporate office about my money. I called them and the guy said he will get my money back but he was shorting me with the amount of refund I said well I am on the road and it seems not the proper amount and that I will call back. I called back another day talked to another person from the corporate with the amount on my receipt. Yesterday 1/4/24 I received an email saying sorry that I have not received my refund yet and they are working on so I responded on how they have try to ruin Christmas for us and what if I couldn’t purchase the same item from target they didn’t care he said that I have to go all the way to NH for a refund or they will mail me a gift card. I told him that I am going to involve legal and media if I don’t get my money back in my account. So here I am and my money is not in my account and game stop don’t want to give me my money back even with the copy of my receipt and their corporate is a joke. I never want to purchase from any game stop ever again and if you guys are don’t want to go through what I did I recommend you don’t as well.

6 dollars for a game their going to mark up to 25-30 used that's 35 new. No wonder the company is tanking

When we called this location, they said the item we asked about was in stock. After a TWO hour ride, they couldn't find it! It was apparently put into their system as a different one. Grrrr!!! The kids working there were nice. Someone didn't do their job though ?

Drove up from Springfield to check them out. Handwritten sign on the door letting us know they were closed. Got the kids stuff from Walmart instead. At least it’s right down the road as a back up.

Was suppose to be open a half hour ago, no one opened, there's no sign of life, a line of people waiting, and no manager can be reached!! On release day for a major game, that's REALLY messed up!!

I went to Gamestop tonight. Hours online said open until 8. I went in at 725, I asked about pricing based on an online order price. They said I could order it and could pick it up the next day and get the 20$ less price which was fine but they kept mentioning they were closing soon. I asked if they were open until 8 like the website said. They said they close at 740 so they have 20 minutes to finish things up so they can leave by 8. I went back to look at games and they hollered that they were about to close so I walked out. It was 7:35 when I walked out and they locked doors behind me and pulled down the metal gate. They rushed us out, closed early and did not help me purchase the game I was interested in. I went to Walmart instead to purchase the game.

I've gone to this GameStop most of my life and I've never seen it be so wildly inconsistent on closing times than it has been in the last few months. I get that times are tough with hiring and it causes unexpected hour changes, but you desperately need to get your times straight and communicated. I've tried to come here before the listed closing hours on Google probably about five or six times only for the gates to be closed. Sometimes even the listing on the door says it should be open. It's wasting my time to come out here repeatedly only for the store to be closed. This needs to change.

Something weird happened with the power up rewards, I was charged but their computer doesn’t show that I have it. The new manager was able to fix the problem with the power up rewards.
