What's not to like about Home Depot.....

This is absolutely the worst HD I’ve ever been to in my life! Unfortunately they’re the only game in town and seem to think they can do as they please. Horrible inventory and the worst service! If I had a closer choice I’d never come to this store again!

Not too impressed with the cashiers here. My husband went in his car to get a roll of r-30 insulation. Only one of the packages of it was fully wrapped in its packaging, which he purchased. When he checked out, the cashier needlessly took it out of the cart to scan it (even when the barcode was facing up) and when putting it back, grabbed the packaging with one hand and ripped the packaging clean off the roll. Now the back of our car has fiberglass everywhere. Not too happy about that.

The lady working the register at the garden center ruined our day today. She was overwhelmed by the 10 items she had to scan in the garden center and recommended several times for us to check out inside while she scanned our items. I recommend avoiding interactions with Susan if you want to keep having a good day.

I paid $6000 upfront for a service of having my floors and carpet installed. They are charging me another $1500 incredulous amount for two dollar underlayment and the labor to install it. I have been dealing with this for months now as I’ve asked for a detailed breakdown of an actual invoice and apparently they do not know what an invoice breakdown is. The woman I spoke with in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, Elena, was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. Terrible customer service!

Home Depot almost never has what I'm looking for. I left empty handed after looking for a #8 grade metric bolt.

Been on the phone waiting for 35 minutes so far and apparently no one wants to help me. I used to work at this store a while ago and back then we were never supposed to let the phones ring so long. I guess I’ll have to hang up and try some place else.. way to have customer service….

Great store. But don't try and call for any department. You just hear it ring forever. That's not customer service...

I ordered a stove and was told delivery would be on the 9th but I needed to be there to accept delivery. I explained that I worked that day and could we have it shipped to my work place. I was told no problem, address was changed and delivery was now the 12th. Okay, I understand I do work 10 miles from home and 2 miles from the store....
Here we are on the 12th and I receive an automated call saying delivery will now be the 18th!
1. Thanks for the personal call
2. Who will be preparing this Fridays dinner party
3. Why did the man in working appliances not seem to care about the lost sale when I came in and cancelled the order (that I doubt I was ever receiving)
I would be more than open to a phone call from anyone at this establishment that feels they can make this right.

I just had the worst and most sexist experience of my life asking for a drill set at this store.. I’m a 62 year woman who used to do a lot of repair work around the house, yard and barn also.. much more than my husband ever did.. and I used to have a nice dewalt cordless drill that I used a LOT for a lot of different repairs and projects. I would have just picked out what I wanted if everything wasn’t locked up, but a guy came to assist me, looked me up and down and when I asked for the specific model Id put in my cart, he blurted “the most expensive model we have?!? “ I said, um it’s $99.00. He told me he sells dewalt to actual CONTRACTORS, I don’t need that, and told me I should just take they Ryobi (which, BTW, was also $99) Then he tried to get me to check out immediately instead of remaining to look at stuff in the store. I had a vacuum in my cart, (don’t think he minded that that was over $200)
Thinking I should have just told him I am trying to buy it for my son, as a special gift.. and see if he would have treated me this way..
I just couldn’t believe it.. if he was actually worried about me overspending, he would have had a much different and not mocking, sarcastic attitude.
I left the store (including the vacuum) and will never go back there for anything. So glad I don’t live in this area anymore.
The guy didn’t know anything about me other than I’m a woman who is probably not a contractor.
