DeMeritt Hill Farm in Lee, New Hampshire, is a family fun spot offering great apple picking on a beautiful farm. Visitors can enjoy a cute little store with many things to check out and take home, including amazing apple fritters, delicious apple cider, jam, fruit bread, maple syrup, fresh fruit, and apple cider donuts from a great local baker on site who also makes nice gluten-free treats. The farm provides fun excursions with walking trails that are open and dog-friendly. Seasonally, it transforms for Halloween with a truly spine-tingling adventure called Haunted Overload every October. This awesome event features an eerie ambiance with fog and haunting music, a haunted trail through abandoned barns and creepy structures with lurking actors, and incredible attention to detail. It offers a fantastic mix of fear, fun, and fall ambiance, with a balance between scare intensity and fun. A less intense daytime version is also available for families and younger visitors, which is just scary enough and not lame, while the nighttime version is awesomely terrifying. The experience includes storylines, sudden jump scares, and is perfect for both seasoned horror fans and those looking for a fun fright.
An amazing place to visit, especially if you love Halloween. The decorations are beautifully done, the atmosphere is fantastic, and there are plenty of great spots for photos. I would definitely come back!

Haunted Overload is a must see. So well done, so much time and craftsmanship must’ve went into it. I went during the day because I had my young child, but I would LOVE to get the full experience at night sometime soon as well.
