every time i've come here I feel like there just isn't a general politeness and respect, felt like im bothering someone, or there was just an extremely high level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. long story short, I will be trying to seek healthcare elsewhere.
and I have had many experiences that were generally unsettling, today I feel the need to only expand upon a few.
a few years ago my pcp felt the need to express her religious beliefs to me and recommend I join her church group and give me information for it, while I get she was trying to be friendly, I was there for an appointment... not her personal agenda. it is extremely unprofessional to try to engage with me on that deep of a personal level, especially as someone who does not consider theirselves religious. that was just one instance.
when getting blood drawn, ive never had a pleasant experience, but once upon am time, being improperly and painfully stuck with needles, there was this older lady who stuck me an unbelievable amount of times in both arms, because she kept "missing veins" and when she finally found one she reached over and snagged the wire on her arm, which then led to the needle getting ripped out, and my blood spurting across the floor. needless to say (forgive the pun) I wasn't impressed. especially as someone who is sensitive to blood. she sought another nurse to stick me YET AGAIN to try and get a blood sample.
lastly, I had to cancel appointments the past two times, to reschedule as personal life has affected me and my ability to come in. I am also not treating it as important because of how many times ive been treated poorly here. We all have things going on, period. things that I don't need to explain to a PCP or receptionist. When trying to reschedule for health reasons this morning, the passive aggression I received on the phone from the lady calling me was quite aggravating, just another reason I won't be attending further.
I caution you highly against getting or seeking medical care here. I feel you're not in the best interest of the hospital and the staff, and are treated like an inconvenience.
EDIT: saw someone say the first course of action for anxiety disorder is to throw pills in your face, I will second that.

Hi! I truly don't understand all the negative reviews. My husband and I both go to Lee Family Practice, and have since they've opened. We've always been treated with great kindness, empathy, and with our concerns at heart. They get back to us right away, and have never cancelled an appt. on us. John Hall is amazing!

I have been at this practice my entire life. Everytime I walk through those doors, or even call the office I have an awful experience. Just earlier today I went for lab work and the lady I had missed my arm three times. My PCP is very dismissive and acts careless. They never renew my prescriptions on time and when I asked for a new primary care physician they said they could send me to Durham and to call next time I need an appointment.

I have had Dr. Cashman for over 10 years. I followed her from Frisbee. I had an appointment for a physical and they needed to cancel. Okay, I then asked for a new appointment and I can’t get in until September, almost another year for my yearly physical. That is wrong in so many ways. That said I could see someone else, but I have a primary for a reason.

Overwhelmingly not worth going here. Double booked an appointment and then cancelled the next one without notice. It's extremely irritating when you leave work early to find out they messed up again.

I've been a patient at Lee Family Practice for many years,. 2 years ago I ended up at Mass general in Boston for a urgent medical problem. It was a couple of years since I had been at the practice so they dropped me as a patient without notification. They would not accept me back because when they dropped me I became a "new patient" When we contacted patient care they told me to get a referral which we did from a doctor within the system and it was marked urgent. Lee Practice still refused to see me despite us following all the instructions given. They were rude and dismissive to people trying to get medical care and going through the system just as requested. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I have been part of this network my entire life. Ever since mass. General took over the quality of care has rapidly declined. Today was the last straw for me. I had a phone appointment scheduled for today and I received a phone call informing me that they had to cancel, no big deal rite. Wrong, couldn’t get another appointment until four months later! It’s a phone call not an in person appointment. On top of that they would not extend my prescription until said appointment which was the whole point of the phone call. I miss the old wentworth network that treated you like a person.

If you’re a thyroid patient stay very far away…this practice will only test TSH levels and will only prescribe levo thyroxine. If you’re looking for thyroid help-you won’t get it here.

Terrible. The physicians assistants are not through. It takes forever to get an appointment and they cancel appointments all the time. When they do cancel they don’t have anything for over a month. They are not accommodating when they inconvenience you. They also don’t call back with medical information and we have to call to get information that they should could call us with. Go anywhere else.

This practice is wonderful! My APRN, Nicole Rembiz, is so caring and takes the time to assess, listen and work WITH you to help you the best she can! It’s nice to have someone who takes the time and treats you as an individual. I highly recommend her!
