“I can't say enough about how grateful I am for everyone who works here. I've been bringing my dog Waylon here since he was 8 weeks old - it was during COVID so it was hard to not be able to go in with him but they take such amazing care of him and everyone that works there absolutely adores him. They all know him by name and get excited when he comes to the office and so does he! He absolutely loves going to the vet. They are all the nicest people and care so much about your pets health and well being. Special shout out to Colby for always being the best vet tech there is :) 11/10 would recommend.”

“I am so thankful for Arbor. We noticed a large infected hot spot on our shepherd yesterday morning and our former vet could not see him for a month. I called Arbor as a new patient and they got him in within the hour! They were so attentive, kind to our pup and thorough in their evaluation. They had all the meds on hand and the visit was seamless and quick. They called this morning for a follow up too. We will only be using Arbor going forward and absolutely recommend them for you veterinary needs.”

“My first time euthanizing an animal and they made it as easy and pleasant as possible. My 18 year old cat, Maggie had suddenly gotten sick and she wasn’t eating. Dr Brench gave her fluids and antibiotics and prescribed an appetite stimulant. Everything helped to extend Maggie’s life for about a month but this past weekend I knew her end was near.I brought her to CPV at 11am and was treated so compassionately by the staff. They took me to a quiet room where a soft blanket was set up on a large shelf. I was able to spend as much time as needed to say goodbye to my best little friend and companion. At this point Maggie was so weak she was just laying sideways on the floor. I lay down next to her and stroked her slowly, touching once again her fragile bones on her thin body.We wrapped her in the blanket and I was able to hold her right to the end. She never flinched or made any sound at all. Within 5 seconds she passed, and Dr Robbin’s compassionate manner made the whole experience peaceful and stress free. I recommend Central Park Vet for their caring nature and professional manner during such a heartbreaking time.”

“Have a difficult dog that another area vet had a great deal of difficulty with. These guys just took the leash and put him through their paces. Exactly what he needed. That was many years ago and he's getting on in years (14) but between getting a good amount of exercise, eating a balanced diet, and getting good vet care he'll turn 15 in August.”

“I love them. I have a toy yorkie Gizmo who is very small. 1.5lbs when I got him now he's at 4 months 3.3lbs. Gizmo has something stuck in his throat last week. I got in my truck and took him there. They referred me to a emergency vet that could xray him. He had a hair ball stuck in his throat. He's fine now. Thank God!I love Rochester Veterinary Clinic. They are so helpful, kind and caring!”

“Perfect mix of professional and bedside manor. They have taken care of my dog for 10 years. When he was having hot spot issues it took a while but it was determined he has allergies. They supported us and him the whole time. They could see the frustration from us when he was hearting and they continued to help us find the help he needed. Since getting medicated food close to 5 years ago he hasn'thad one hot spot. Great team”

“Dr. Jim McKiernan and the staff at Greatbay Animal Hospital deserve more than 5 stars. My animals are my family, over the past 20 plus years they have celebrated when I brought in new family members for a first visit and cried with me while helping them cross the bridge. They have always treated us with nothing but kindness and compassion. When my animal's illness or injury was beyond Dr. McKiernan's expertise, he referred me to a specialist who could help. My Rottweiler Largo was the 2nd dog to have TPLO surgery at Tufts University. He helped us get Largo into a cancer trial that extended the quality of her life until she passed at 8 from osteosarcoma. Dr. McKiernan doesn't sugar coat things, the health and well being of my animals have always been the top priority. They understand everyone is not created equal financially and and will go over options. My Bullmastiff Bella lived to be 13 1/2 and a large part of that is because of their care. She truly loved them and would wag when she got to go behind the counter and check out the clinic in the back. Time and time again Dr. McKiernan and all the staff over the years have been there for us. They all have loved and treated my animals like their own and still reminisce with me.Recently I took home an unadoptable medical foster from a shelter to live out her life on my couch. Lola's backstory is heartbreaking and I wanted Dr. McKiernan's opinion on end of life care. What he found after having files, labs, pathologies and medical records from 3 states sent to him and his own exam, was a dog that qualified for treatment. Months of red tape with the state and shelter Dr. Jim McKiernan is solely responsible for getting Lola a health certificate which allowed me to adopt her.The staff is always so friendly when I call to make an appointment and understanding when I'm worried. When we arrive for our appointment not only do I get a big hello but so does Lola. The tech has looked at Lola's chart and knows why we're there and gives her lots of attention and treats while taking notes.I will never be able to express how grateful I am, I don't have the words.”
