The most rude person I’ve ever met, got a toe from him and decided to drive with the window open and heat off the whole way until he dropped the car on the side of the highway. worst tow truck experience I’ve ever had

I was visiting area and car was low on antifreeze. It was Sunday and I couldn’t find the right fluid for my car. I randomly ran into family member of the owners who gives me a phone number to call and someone would meet me at Arnold’s and top me off (they were closed). I called and drove over. Kayleigh topped off my tank and I was on my way with no more alarming dash lights! Thank you very much !Oh and you should try to diner next door too, great food!

Be careful using Arnold's Auto Center. They were able to get my truck picked up on a flatbed on a Friday night as they were closing but that was about the only thing that went well.Short story: they caused $4500 worth of damage to my truck, didn't actually fix the original problem with my truck, overcharged by almost double, and then were rude and refused to fix the problems they caused or help in any way.Now the long story:First issue: The tow truck driver (who talked about working 65+ hours already that week) struggled to load my truck on the flatbed and eventually placed my truck on the flatbed backwards. On the highway to their shop, the tonneau cover (that the tow truck driver had unlatched) came flying up and struck the top of my truck cab, damaging the top of my truck severely ($4500 worth of damage). They never mentioned this to me at all and just re-latched the tonneau cover. When I picked the truck up, the next afternoon, I didn't realize the extent of the damage until later that day. I called them to address it and was told "it was not our drivers fault, and we assume no responsibility, you should call your insurance company"Second issue: They replaced my starter motor while it was there, but in doing so, they broke the electrical connector to plug it in.Third issue: They did not fix the above issue, or let me know they broke it. (two weeks later, my starter didn't work again because the connector came unplugged).Forth issue: Again, I called to address the above issue with the wiring, Stacey, the service advisor, told me they didn't have a manager and she also refused to get the owner out of the shop to talk with me. I told her my issue and she said, "we didn't do anything wrong, you can deal with O'Reillys auto parts to get it warrantied if you want"Fifth issue: I was charged $640 for the replacement of my starter. I was told it would be roughly an hour at $80 an hour and $223 for the starter. That is a total of $303 not $640.I would not recommend using this shop or the tow service they provide.

I wasn't going to post because I didn't have anything nice to say...took my light duty truck to get tires changed and waited around in the rain for 3 hrs until they finally got around to my vehicle, despite not really being all that busy. They just took a long time. Another 2 hours to mount, balance and install the tires. Annoying, but not worth writing home about. I got the truck back and it was a bit bouncy, but I thought that was simply worn stabilizer bars, since the truck was 10 yrs old. I drove to 40 miles to pick up a light load (1200 lbs) of wood pellets, and the truck was till bouncing. The next day, before I went to pick up more load, I decided to check the tire pressure to make sure all's well. When I did, I didn't believe my pressure reader, so I used a 2nd one, then a 3rd. They all read 83 psi. I read my other car's tire, and it was 33 psi, normal. I checked all 4 truck tires: 83, 84, 82, and 84. All well above 80 psi. After recovering from a cold sweat for having postponed death, and after cussing up a storm, I brought the pressure down to normal (35 psi) on all 4 tires. If I had bounced off the freeway or crashed into someone else, investigators would've concluded that I was the idiot that filled his tires to 80+ psi and lost control (or wheel bead failed) when the reality is that I'm the idiot that trusted an autoshop to get something as simple as tire pressure right....or at least not DOUBLE it and then wait for it to surprise me. If you have your vehicle worked on by these people, I would recommend you or a qualified mechanic check their work ASAP. Obviously, I do NOT recommend this place.Service: Tires

Super amazing service! We were in a terrible location with almost no cell service when our car blew a tire AND the tire seized so we couldn't get our doughnut on. They were able to get the tire off, replace all 4 tires that night and get us on our way! Made the whole ordeal pretty stress free all things considered. Highly recommend!

This place is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. They could not figure out my problem from two days of trying. One person test drove it and said he had no idea what was causing the noise. The, so called, head mechanic said he couldn’t test drive it because Covid has caused his since of smell to be enhanced so my vehicle smells to bad.

We got a flat tire on our rental car driving through Lincoln. They got us right in first thing in the morning and we were on the road by 9:20! And only charged $50!

This place was great. We broke down on a busy holiday and they were already swamped. They fit us in and repaired our car in only a few hours. Great people!

During a recent road trip, we found ourselves in a dire situation when our brakes started failing. In a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon this exceptional auto mechanic. Not only did they provide immediate service, but their expertise in replacing our brake pads and rotors was truly impressive. What truly stood out was their fair pricing, a rarity in the world of auto repairs. It's not every day you encounter such honesty and integrity in this industry. Moreover, the mechanic and their team were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the process, making an otherwise stressful situation much more manageable. We're immensely grateful for their prompt assistance, reasonable rates, and the warm hospitality they extended to us. If you ever need automotive help in this area, this mechanic is an absolute gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend their services.

One of life’s darkest moments iswhen your car misbehaves and you are far from home. You must put your trust in some new mechanic. We found our way to Arnold. With a twinkle in his eye, John ( I think) , said the bill would be very pricey— and then laughed. In fact the cost was a mere $30 dollars for a heat shield repair! The integrity and honesty of Arnold ‘s Mechanics was outstanding!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

It was Monday of Labor Day weekend, and I needed to get back to Connecticut, but my car wouldn't start. I called AAA, and they said someone from a battery company would be there in under two hours. So when John from Arnold's Towing called to see if I needed a tow, I said someone was coming (without wondering why he was calling). Well, it turns out that there probably never was anyone from any battery company coming - certainly they never showed up - but, instead, AAA was placating me by saying someone was, even as they were asking Arnolds (which is 50 miles away from Randolph) to do it. So Arnold's, which actually had someone close by at the cog railroad, cancelled that request, and by the time I realized the 'battery company' was not coming, and called John back, that tow truck was was busy in Littleton. So I called AAA, and they said they'd get Arnolds to come out. When the target time arrived, I called John - AAA had never called. He offered to send someone 50 miles, but it would take time.So instead I took my wife's car and went and bought a battery at OReillys in Gorham - VIP Tires, which was where the car would have been towed, suggested them, and then told me how to hook it up. It worked like a charm and I drove home.I recommend all three of these businesses, but this is a review of Arnolds. Though they did nothing actual for me, John was practical, good natured despite repeated calls, and a straight shooter. He urged me to take action by pointing out the difficulty and delay of waiting. Without his counsel, I would have missed at least a day of work, and all the headaches that entails.ThanksNat

The two fellows who came to my rescue in the middle of the night when I blew a tire after a VERY long day were so empathetic, understanding and helpful. They did everything to make me feel comfortable, respect my unusual situation (new dog rescue on board) and get me on the road quickly. Very grateful for this company and the experience.
