I have bought many pairs of White Mountain sandals before, and I have no complaint with their style or comfort. Before an upcoming trip I went to a local DSW where I can usually buy them, but they didn't have any in stock. I checked the White Mountain website for locations, and saw that a nearby Famous Footwear carried them. After finding out that none of the local shoe stores carried them (maybe White Mountain needs to update their locations on their website?) I went back online to the White Mountain website. I found the sandals I wanted, and I had four business days until my scheduled vacation. I paid for 2 day shipping and waited for my shoes. The shoes were slated to arrive 5 business days after ordering according to the UPS tracker, so I called customer service. One of the owners answered the phone and from the start was very short with me. I told her I paid for 2 day shipping, and was going to ask that they reduce my shipping charge when she interrupted me, and told me that a five business day delay did count as 2 day shipping. I told her that they may need to make that clear on their website that 2-day shipping will not really be two day shipping, when she interrupted me again, and said the website does explain it. I was trying to find out how they could actually call that 2-day shipping when she accused me of yelling at her, and I told her I wasn't yelling. (I really wasn't, I don't like being rude to people in customer service) I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to, and she scoffed, and said she was the manager and there was on one else. I asked if I could have my order cancelled as the shoes would arrive after I had already left, and she raised her voice at me and told me no. She sighed heavily and said / yelled that I would have to ship them back if I didn't want them. As I was asking about getting the shipping reduced she again accused me of raising my voice, and then hung up on me. I tried calling back, but I got the answering machine. Very unprofessional, very rude, and be wary if you think these shoes will arrive on time, or if you have the misfortune of speaking to the owners. I have never had someone in customer service be so rude, interrupt me so much, and then hang up on me.
