Dr. Schuyler Paaymans was hired as an associate Veterinarian and works currently at Crossroads Animal Clinic. That man not only needs to lose his position but his Veterinary License yet Crossroads continues to Employ an Abusive Man who not only mistreats his fellow employees but is a KNOWN to have on a number of reported occasions ABUSED THE ANIMALS he is supposed to be responsible for helping. The staff at Crossroads has brought this issue to upper Management on a number of occasions only to be dismissed as if they are OK with the Animals being abused by this Aggressive man who just doesn't need to be working in the Veterinary Medical Field... So if staff has brought these issues to upper Managements attention then what kind of medicine do you think they are ok with doing there?!... Well let's see?!... A Dysphoric Senior Animal coming out of anesthesia doesn't need to be slammed down of the table and aggressively held down until it turned Blue from Lack of oxygen. Dr. Schuyler Paaymans DID that on Nov. 18 and it has been documented but Nothing done by Tina, Jen or Dr. Hyden. Does that not make you question their Values and their medical practice CAUSE IT SHOULD.

Dr Grove is wonderful. Wendy however, is not. I was sent an email asking to provide feedback on my experience. I spent a lot of time formulating a very open and honest response. I am very communicative and it was very important to be to share in an honest effort to help improve while also sharing my genuine concerns. I started off my feedback response by mentioning how grateful I was to have found crossroads. And then I shared constructive criticism based on how regulations affect their clients and families. I was initially misinformed and told that the practice allowed owners in the room - which is one of the reasons we switched to this practice for my new pup. What I wasn't told was my kid (who is very excited about her pup and is very involved in learning to care for her) was not allowed in the room. I felt personally it was important to let them know that not letting my kid in a room with me while having a thorough discussion was in fact not limiting exposure like they were trying to adhere to. Instead of choosing to improve together, my feedback was not accepted.. instead of a phone call to discuss and perhaps strengthen what I was hopeful for a long term relationship - was NOT in their interests. I received a letter severing the relationship and my voice and experience was silenced. It appears that none of what I said- all angles of vulnerable and honest genuine feelings - were interpreted as an insult. It's sad. Please don't ask people to give feedback to help you improve if you're not looking to improve. I actually called the practice today because i felt ther was a mistake and wanted to have a direct and compassionate conversation with the practice manager so she knew my intentions were healthy and not with I'll intent. Wendy mentioned taking my response as personal, and seemed to care more about her staff than paying clients and the dogs who need them. The appt in question occurred when I had zero sleep for three days bevayse my puppy was very sick, and my response to that appt experience was NOT about the regulations they were following- it was more about how I was treated in response to the regulations they're following. People are forgetting to be human. Recommendations are being treated as requirements and people are overreacting. Rules are being implicated that are minimizing how people feel and in return it's affecting everyone negatively. Not just me- but for their staff, AND their clients. IM VERY reasonable. I had zero ill intent but when I'm asked my opinion, and the reason behind it is to strengthen your business, or voice my thoughts, then be open to the responses or don't ask. Severing a relationship and asking us to not come back because I was upset that you'd allow me in the appt with my dog, but not my 3 year old who is always with me- under the only premise that you're trying to minimize exposure - IS unacceptable. That is my opinion, and is NOT a reason to tell us we aren't welcome as your clients. I copied My feedback and saved it to my notes, and have attached it to this yelp review. Bad business practices.

I just moved to the area and got a puppy and was referred here by a friend. I've had nothing but a positive experience. The doctors and techs were all friendly and nice ! We had a couple emergencies and we called first thing in the morning and the front desk receptionist did everything possible to have me seen that day.

You can find much better care for half the price elsewhere. Save your time, money, and sanity! look for a different vet.

The doctors and staff at Crossroads Animal Hospital for the last 10 years provided compassionate care for my dog Sushi. Sushi was always greeted as a favorite. When it came time to say goodbye to Sushi. Dr Grove was very supportive in helping me find ways to make her more comfortable and to help me know when to decide to let her go. The follow up and compassion they show go way beyond what a human doctor provides. Thank you all Joanne Hajduk
