I came to Mark’s Discount Truck and Auto to see a 2012 F-350 that was in great shape and listed below market value. The salesman Matt introduced himself and give me a tour of the vehicle. He let me take it for two test drives without giving any sense of inconvenience or attitude before I made a decision.I had noticed a bit of a shake in the front end of the vehicle and after discussing it with Matt he said he would have it fixed and would let me know when it was ready. He kept in touch until the repairs were finished, and after one final drive it was apparent Matt made good on his word, and the truck was running great.Overall I experienced a very professional and respectable service at Mark’s and would refer any friend or family in the market to Matt.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREMark's Discount Truck & Auto Sales sold us a very, very dangerous lemon. The dealership fraudulently passed the safety inspection in violation of NH RSA 358F for the sole purpose of making money, with no regard for the actual safety of the vehicle. Only 70 miles after purchasing, the muffler fell out of the vehicle. We had it towed back to Mark's for them to "take a look" and they illegally replaced the muffler without our permission/consent and refused to return the original part to us even though it was requested via email, text message, and certified mail. After the muffler debacle, we took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership and asked them to perform a full safety inspection, during that inspection we found out the exhaust system was leaking fumes into the cabin of the vehicle. My family members could have died, including my toddler, because of the fraudulent, illegal, and downright greedy practices of Mark's Discount Truck & Auto Sales. There are open investigations via the Attorney General, Department of Safety, and Department of Transportation. Additionally, due to the outcome of the Toyota inspections, the Toyota Dealership also submitted their findings to the Attorney General because this vehicle was sold to us as "safe to drive" when it was, in fact, a true death trap. This business is cheating our community out of money at best, and putting lives in danger at worst. Do not shop here. They will be shut down by the state soon.

I bought a 2016 GMC Acadia from this place in June of 2023, the truck was in good shape. I took it for a test drive and tested everything to make sure it was working, except the A/C, it was a cold, rainy day for June so I didn't use the A/C. Pete the salesman told me everything is in working order and not to worry so I purchased it. I came down a few days later to pick it up and before I drove off I tested the A/C and thank god I did because it didn't work. Pete gave me his word that it was working so he said they would take care of it. I had to go back down there (over 50 miles each way) so they could look at it. It was too much for there mechanic so they sent me to a shop they use a few miles down the road. There they found the leak and had to order some parts and to come back the following week. All sounds good up to this point, Right!I want to add something before I continue, I asked if any maintenance has been done when they got the truck and they told me they always do oil changes and NH state inspection. When I registered it I had to do the inspection (in my name) and I was going on a long trip so I brought to a GM dealership to go through it. They told me the oil hasn't been changed in a while because of consistency and color and it was a quart low. It also cost me over $300 in repairs to pass the inspection, so don't believe them when they tell you that!On with the story! I went back to have the leak fixed and a couple hours later they were done, cold air was blowing out the front vents. I was like wow that was great of them to do that and I was very happy; until I got home, My truck also has rear A/C and heat, the following day was hot and when I turned on the rear A/C, nothing but hot air, I thought I was doing something wrong because the front worked great. When the truck was getting it's inspection, I had them look at it and couldn't believe what they told me, the A/C lines going to the rear were cut and capped off (see photo). I didn't understand why they did that when they said they got the parts to fix it. MORE LIES!So I wrote a not so favorable review. The next day, Joe the dealership manager called me and said he wanted to make things right and didn't know why they did that. A couple weeks go by and nothing, I called Joe (more than once) and it was another week before he got back to me. He said there's a shop near me that I can go to so I don't have to drive down there which again, I thought was nice, he'll let them know and they'll be in touch. 2 more weeks go by and again, nothing, took another week to track down Joe at which point he gave me the name of the shop and to go there. I stopped by there and nobody knew I was coming, the person I dealt with was very nice and said they were a long time friend of Joes'. He took some pics of the lines and said he would get back to me after he talks to Joe (he tried calling when I was there but no answer). AGAIN! Over 2 weeks go by, now I'm pissed! I go back to the shop and speak to a different guy who tells me they don't even work on A/C units, they don't even have the equipment for it! He said he would contact Joe and get back to me. Guess what! It's been 3 months now and in the past the 2 weeks I've been trying to get Joe but he's always out or will be back soon and call me. It's been a wild goose chase and he keeps you on a thin line until you give up. My point to anyone who reads this, is things at this dealership, Mark's Discount Truck and Auto Sales, looks good on the surface, but don't believe anything they tell you or promise you. Make sure you know what you're getting because when you drive off the lot, you're on your own!

I had the pleasure of test driving a car with Matt, one of the sale reps. After the test drive, I explained my concern with the brakes, it didn't seem right and to have brakes be looked at. The next day I was told "we checked out the entire car and it was good to go, we replaced a bunch of bulbs and the brakes were good. We put a NH Inspection sticker on the car for you. There is a light indicator on the dashboard indicating, the bulb needs replacement, but we don't have the software to reset system". I picked up the car the next day, signed all of my documents and drove off. After driving the car for 2 hours, I returned back explaining, the brakes just don't feel right and I'm feeling a vibration when pressing on the brakes. I was told, no problem, we'll have Meineke Car Care Center in Derry give a second opinion. The next day, I dropped off the car at Meineke Car Care Center to evaluate the brakes. Once again, I get a phone call stating the car is all set. When I get there, I was told, "we replaced all of the brakes". I asked for more details on why were brakes replaced after Meineke Car Care Center gave an inspection sticker which didn't make sense to me, they avoided all of my questions. Once again, I drove off. The next day, I'm still feeling the noise in the rear. I took the car to my regular mechanic. I was told Left rear wheel bearing noisy - Left rear wheel bearing loose - Right rear wheel bearing noisy - Right rear wheel bearing loose and it's not safe to drive. When I learned of this information, I called Mark's Discount and left a message. I was at a standstill with the car being on the lift and no returned phone call. I told my mechanic to replace the rear bearings because it's was a safety issue and I didn't want my daughter to drive an unsafe car. After I had the bearings replaced, I went to Mark's Discount to get some answers, at first there was some confusion on what Meineke Car Care Center had done. I went back to my mechanic and retrieved the bearings that were replaced. Again, went back to Mark's with the parts and I was told "Joe, the manager is on the phone and will get back to me tomorrow morning". Well, it has been crickets, just as previous reviews have mentioned on their posts. I gave them another 3 days without a returned call. Once again, I'm having a phone conversation with Matt and was told, "I can't control if Joe, the manager doesn't return calls. Once again, I ask, how is it possible for a NH Inspection sticker be given if all of the brakes were replaced the day after I picked up the car and rear bearings were no good. It appears a NH Inspection Sticker was given even though the car did not pass all safety check list items. I also explained, when driving the car at night with the lights on, it's beeping like crazy because a bulb need to be replaced even thought I was told all of the bulbs work. Once again, attention to details is not a priority. Hopefully "Joe" the manager will see this post and return a call and he is welcome to come check out the original rear bearings I have in my possession. Guess I'll investigate further as to why I was given an Inspection Sticker, which indicates the car passed all safety items, then the brakes were replaced the next day and of course, the light bulb warning that keeps on beeping and beeping and beeping.

We had a very good buying experience with Patrick. Everything went smoothly and I am very happy with the car. I appreciate how easy the process was made for us. Also, an affordable and reasonable price for my Impreza.

Buyer beware. Showed me a lemon and won't make good on it.Correction - a transmission line went on my truck BEFORE LEAVING YOUR PLACE all the way down 95 while driving it to RI. I noticed the puddle in my driveway the next morning. I called you folks multiple times and was rejected, hence the request to stop payment on the credit card so you left me no choice, actually. My point was this vehicle was in the back, I saw it, asked about it and while I'm pretty certain it was scheduled for your multi-point inspection, I was told it was done. It wasn't, as evidenced by the previous owner's, bathing suit, a couple of grungy Tee-shirts, coffee cups and other trash in the truck tool box. It was only after I took it to my mechanic in RI that I realized it needed $6,000 work of work. Mind you, I wasn't asking for the $6,000 and was even willing to replace the cracked windshield, all I asked for was for you to stand by your product and pay for the amount of the transmission line replacement. I find it interesting that I never actually mentioned to you that it was the transmission line yet in your response, that precisely what you referred to.

I purchased a used 2017 ford f350 back in December ‘22.The truck has been excellent and has been reliable as can be.Salesman was very honest and had nothing to hide. The price was fair and they even had the truck reinspected, serviced, two new tires, and detailed!I highly recommend taking a look at their inventory when you are shopping for that next car or truck.

This place is the absolute worst in the state. They half ass things and don't even fix their cars before selling them so when you buy a car and drive off the lot don't be surprised when it breaks down half way home. awful manager joe and horrible owner mark the way they speak to people that are the reason they are in business and come in to buy cars is disgusting and despicable. steer clear of this place it's by far the worst I've been to.

I bought a 2016 GMC Acadia in June of 2023, as much as I try to make sure everything works, it was a cold rainy day and did not think of testing the A/C. The sales person (Patrick) told me not to worry, he said everything will be in working order and I believed him. I picked up the vehicle a couple days later and found the A/C was NOT working. Patrick, who was very nice through out this issue, asked me to come back so his mechanic could look at it. Did I mention I live 60 miles away! But I did come back and the problem was too much for their "mechanic" to figure out. They sent to a shop they use for bigger issues not far from them. Here's where it gets messy! It's a Meineke care center, nice people, took me right in. They found a leak in a line going to the rear A/C which I verified. They had to order parts and for me to come back the following week. I called to see if the parts came in and they said they came in, so I went down to have them installed. A couple hours later they were finished and cold air was blowing out of the front vents, I didn't check the rear, I figured it was working. I thank everyone for taking care of the issue and in a timely manor, because I thought once I signed the papers, any issues would be my problem. A couple days later it was hot and I turned on the rear A/C and it blew hot air, thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Brought it to my GMC dealer to have some maintenance work done and ask to check the rear A/C. I couldn't believe my ears when they called and told me that someone cut the lines going to the rear A/C and capped them off. That way the front would work but not the rear! I can't believe anyone would do that, especially when they said they had the parts and why wouldn't they tell me. I'm not sure if the dealership knew about this or if Meineke tried to pull a fast one. It doesn't make sense to me why they would do that and not just fix it! I told Patrick the whole story and he said he would look into it, haven't heard back from him.Moral of the story is, don't trust what anyone tells you, get it in writing and stay on top of things to make sure it's done right!

Purchased a 2013 Tacoma for $17,000 on April 14, 2023. A week later, Bob noticed something dripping, so I called the dealership right away. They said they weren't aware of anything but to call them back after he consulted with our mechanic. It turns out the truck needed an additional $6,000 worth of work though we were told it was in good shape and ready to go. I called the dealership twice. The first time I called, April 24, to speak with the guy who told him to call back. Of course, that guy wasn't available, so I left a message. Crickets. I then followed up with an email. Nothing. On Tuesday, April 25, I also called the salesperson I had been dealing with prior to the purchase and left a message. Crickets. I am now left with no other recourse than to retain a personal attorney. Claim is pending.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Bought a truck from these guys and needed a new transmission right away. Obvious symptoms since the day I bought it, I'm not a mechanic and trusted that they go through their vehicles and wouldn't sell one that had such an obvious symptom of transmission failure without running more diagnostics than a simple code reading. Previous owner reported the same symptoms...they knew about it and did not mention anything. SCAM

very helpful staff, got it all done so I drove away with the car. I was upset that we asked for the gas tank to be filled because it had less then 1/4 of tank We didn't realize until we drove away that he hadnt done it. I just wished he had told us. I love my car though
