Mr. Steer Meats is an incredible place with a huge selection of meats and poultry, described as always awesome and consistent over many years. Customers praise its delicious products, especially the steak tips. The subs are exceptional and huge, featuring an awesome Italian sub with a huge amount of correct cold cuts and an excellent roast beef sub with a large amount of meat. Many find the staff personable, kind, and helpful.
However, there have been negative experiences. One long-time customer reported spoiled hamburger that was grey inside, which ruined their long relationship with the business. Another noted a staff member being rude and demonstrating poor practices regarding cross-contamination at the deli counter. Despite these incidents, many customers plan to return, calling it the best place to get meat for grilling in New England.
My coworker and I order from the deli. She got a BLT on a bulky rolls and it only had two slices of bacon to the the highly dissatisfied. I myself got a roast beef and a few other ingredients on a bulky roll and it had an abundance of roast beef.

Not from New Hampshire but was on vacation in bar harbor and had to take the detour to and from maine for this place. Best meats I've ever had!!!
