The cabin is clean and comfortable. Rustic but with a nice refrigerator and furniture. Great fireplace, spent one whole evening enjoying a roaring fire!
Love that it is so dog friendly, I never felt like I was imposing having them with me.
The best part is a toss-up between the incredibly friendly staff and guests and the amazing breakfast each morning.

Ouyr family is fairly new to Loch Lyme Lodge, we have only been coming for a decade, not the generations that other families have. When they heard I was planning a 100th birthday party for my mother, the said "Use the barn." So we did. It was a rainy day, but that didn't matter because we were all under cover and celebrating the milestone birthday at the lodge that we all love.

This is an ideal spot to get away and enjoy nature. The cottages are quaint and comfy. The main lodge is full of charm and the food is excellent! The lake is serene and offers a delectable swim or paddle. There are so many different options to keep you playing with your family all day long or to keep them entertained while you relax and enjoy serenity. All attention to detail is looked after with Amy and Jay being the consummate hosts! You won’t regret your choice for a moment. Enjoy!!!Food & drinks: Excellent and delicious home cooked food in a cosy setting with wonderful service

I rented all of the cabins for my wedding weekend, and hosted my welcome party in the field behind the barn. I also got married down by the pond. It was a perfect summer camp style venue. It was such a blast having all of our friends stay close together so we could swim during the day and continue the fun at the firepit late at night. And the scenery is stunning. It was magical seeing the sun setting over the pond while we hosted our welcome party.Jay was a pleasure to work with -- very easygoing, helpful, and communicative.

Labor Day weekend at Loch Lyme Lodge on Post Pond. We headed to Loch Lyme Lodge for a leisurely weekend away. We stayed in Beechwood, a two-bedroom treasure with one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on. Reading on the screened porch with a newly cleared view of the lake. A fully stocked, kitchen where we were able to prepare snacks and breakfast one morning because we were too lazy to dress and head up to the lodge for coffee and eggs. Beechwood has a working fireplace. A friendly staffer delivers a load of firewood each morning while picking up your trash. These cabins are aged, with character and care. They are clean and comfortable. Loons call from the pristine lake. The managers Amy and Jay are warm, friendly, accommodating, thoughtful and relaxed. They maintain the cabins and the atmosphere in and around the cabins with everyone’s comfort in mind. Finished the book you were reading? Head to the game cabin to pick up a book or borrow scrabble for the afternoon. We’ll be telling our friends about this gem in Lyme, NH

My partner and I had our wedding here in June 2022, and we are so glad we chose Loch Lyme Lodge for our wedding weekend festivities! It was perfect for our DIY and low-key wedding, and we think it’s a perfect choice for anyone who is into the cabin/camping wedding vibe. The cabins definitely do have a rustic feel, so I would make sure you visit beforehand to get a feel for them and make sure they’re right for your guests! Our guests all had a wonderful time using the lodge’s many amenities (kayaking, canoeing, horseshoes, games) and we got so many compliments about the venue from friends and family. Using the amenities also allowed our guests to hang out together and meet each other throughout the weekend. Jay and his team were good communicators, kind, and flexible, and the grounds were in such great shape with beautifully gardened plants and flowers. The rentals process also went really smoothly, as Jay has a company he works with often who knows the grounds and the needs there. We hope to go back to celebrate anniversaries in the future!

What an idyllic venue for our daughter's wedding in September 2021. Guests had their own cabins and could sail, kayak, or canoe on the lake, use lawn games, play tennis, etc. and hang out with the wedding couple and friends all weekend. The lake-side ceremony was stunning, the tent on the lawn was magical, and the post-reception firepit was awesome. Jay made it easy for the rental company and caterer to serve up a perfect event.

Very rustic. Like summer camp when you were a kid. The lake is fantastic. No boats. The hosts were very nice. This place is ten miles from Hanover where Dartmouth is. If you like to hike there are tons of great places. If your wife likes the Ritz she will hate this place. But we thought it was fantastic
