1269 Cafe

Churches & Places of Worship
1269 Cafe is a place that offers a well-stocked food pantry with vegetables, fruits, proteins, and comfort foods, and is appreciated for its caring staff. Many visitors find the staff to be great and helpful, especially in supporting homeless individuals. However, some concerns have been raised about safety and organization. One reviewer praised the staff for their kindness but mentioned feeling unsafe due to a homeless individual targeting them, suggesting the need for security. Another person expressed disappointment with how homeless people are treated by the staff, feeling they are treated poorly. Additionally, there are comments about inconsistent hours and closures that do not align with the posted schedule, making it hard for visitors and residents to rely on the cafe's availability. Despite these issues, the cafe is seen as a place that helps the community and its residents. Overall, 1269 Cafe is valued for its support and resources but could improve safety measures and communication about hours to better serve everyone.
