The whole staff is wonderful they treated my pup awesome and I learned a lot from the vet she is perfect I had a great experience while there and they even suggested things that will help out with my puppy for when I have to go too places with a lot of people and a lot going on I'm general.. I highly recommend Banfield if you have a pet and check out their pet insurance options online also , I'm glad I did for a almost $600 dollar well puppy check up I paid under $200 for whole visit with Pedi trim also

Banfield Pet Hospital is great. They give great service and save me a lot of money. I have my dog princess under their wellness plan.

I just recently adopted a second dog and took her in for a wellness check just to be sure. Not only does this location require you to confirm via text but phone as well because the text isn’t enough. Since they never answer the phone we couldn’t ever get to someone to confirm and they told us they were giving our appointment away so I had to reschedule. I rescheduled and brought my dog in and she was diagnosed with heartworm. The doctor gave me a print out and that’s it. Did not tell me anything about it or what the treatment would look like. Put a document up on the screen for 30 seconds of what a treatment plan would be, was supposed to send it to me and never did. No words or encouragement or info about what our next steps for treatment should be. Everyone seemed like they were in such a rush and their only priority is to get you out of the clinic ASAP. Probably wouldn’t be in such a rush if you didn’t have to wait until 20 minutes after your appointment time to get checked in. Needless to say we will not be returning to Banfield, and every local office that we called (because of course we got a new bet) told us to stay far away and never go back. The fact that the doctor did not even take 5 minutes to talk to me about her heartworm diagnosis and what a treatment plan would look like/ what to expect is absolutely awful. They also failed to let me know that I should wait to give her the preventative because there can be a reaction with the vaccines she got- only told me about that on the phone after I left and already gave her the preventative. I also found out that they’ve failed to document a lump my other dog has that I’ve been asking them about for years. Do not take your pets here, ever.

I recently moved back east fromColorado. I’d been taking my cat to the Banfields there for years and was happy it would be so easy to continue her care here. I was very disappointed with my service. My cat is definitely feisty, but the staff couldn’t even weigh her. She’s in a carrier and every appointment in the past they put her on the scale in the carrier and then weigh the empty carrier and subtract the weight. The purpose of this appointment was her bi annual check up and to do preventative heart worm treatment which they didn’t administer. They couldn’t even take my cat’s temperature. I understand cats can be difficult but I’ve never had her not receive treatment and the purpose of taking her to professionals is that they have the training to administer that care. I have a wellness plan and I’m going to be canceling because I simply can’t be paying monthly for care my cat isn’t receiving. Other locations may be better but I’d avoid this one.

Called 2 days in a row and no one would answer. I kept pressing the 0 button for 16 minutes and called 2 more times with no answer. The second day no answer and was unable to leave a message. I had to physically go there the second day. The receptionist I spoke with was very rude. In the past I have had to travel to the Concord Banfield because of the poor customer service. Glad I will never go there again!

Brought pup there on Saturday. Today's Thursday and had to go to another vet Tuesday. Dogs in ICU with a collapsed lung and good chance to lose her because I feel like whoever saw her Saturday was rushing to leave given she came in after 5pm and didn't check her out properly

My dog baylee was on proheart 6 they told us it was better than pills they never explained the dangers of it and side effects of it to watch for so she had a physical the same day the shot of proheart 6 she was in perfect health so she was not herself for next 5 days not knowing what to look for sunday morning she had a heart attack and died we were devastated I said the only thing that she had was that shot so I googled it the proheart 6 and 12 was removed from the market for killing dogs and is killing dogs I read the side affects and that's exzactly what our dog was having if they informed us what to look for we never would have let her get the shot. Banfield killed our 11 year old perfectly healthy pug google it its poison.she was a family member gone we are devastated. I called the vet the next day he said he's seen dogs die the same day as the shot but never in 5 days hard to belive the answer I got he knows it kills dogs but they keep giving it to dogs heartless negligence.

I really wanted this to work out because it is so convenient. The 2 appts I had with the Dr’s were not bad but aside from that it’s kind of a Mickey Mouse operation . I was misinformed on RX procedures , I’ve called there on several occasions only to have no one answer the phone. I think the icing on the cake for me was my puppy was scheduled to be neutered on a Monday . I got a text on the Saturday before stating I recently cancelled my dogs appt . Ummm no I didn’t . My husband even got the week off from work after the surgery. So I immediately called and they told me the person who cancelled it wasn’t in until Monday and I would have to call back . How is that going to help me since my puppy’s appt is at 7:15 Monday morning. The thing that pissed me off the most was the girl at the front desk said it was cancelled on Wed 8/9. Why did nobody call me ? Why did I get a text 3 days after it was cancelled? I’ve been a patient less than a month and this vet is already a nightmare to deal with . I guess I’m back on the hunt for a new vet for my 6 animals . I don’t have the time nor the patience to deal with an unorganized and unprofessional business. Too bad too . Like I was saying I wanted this to work . Save yourself the headache and check out Banfield Facebook and click on posts. You can see what people have been dealing with in Banfield Hospitals all over the place.***This is in response to Bandfield’s response. Why would I contact you regarding this info ? It’s all explained in my review. No one seemed to care when I contacted you prior to writing this review. I write a bad review and all of the sudden you care? Either that or this is your automated response to every unhappy person.

I have used banfield since we got our puppy in December and I've had nothing but a great experience each and every time. Check in is usually long but other than that it's been a nice visit each time. Concord is also great! My dog goes to manchester and concord takes the cats.

Great job on Lulu's teeth Dr.Sue. She did not get the meds being 10 lbs. we did not like the side effects. Lulu is chewing her food better. Ty Banfield Manchester.

I have three dogs that I take here. I’m very patient with them although today I called to add another pet to my file and schedule an appointment the women told me to call another place as they are booking out the end of April? That is INSANE. Why can’t I wait until then? It’s April 7th waiting until the the end of April is no problem. She was rude and it was an inconvenience to schedule an appt. Waiting 15 days for an appt is perfectly fine. She told me to go to another store when I’ve only even come here. They take 10-20 minutes to check you in, people who answer the phones sound like they don’t want to be there. I’m calling the 888# they gave me and canceling all of my animals and will be transferring to another vet. Horrible service

I showed up 10 minutes late due to traffic and they still wouldn’t see my dog. On top of that, The lady working the front desk was incredibly rude and you could EASILY tell that she just didn’t want to be there. I just don’t understand why people would take a front desk position if they’re just going to look miserable and give attitude to the customer…. At that point, join a new profession.

Went to to Banfield pet hospital for an exam for my cat. They refused to do the exam because they said he was aggressive. They would not go in with him. So the exam was not done but they charged me for the visit. I said you did not do anything but you still are going to charge me. I did not pay. Never go there, they are awful.
