Castro's Back Room in Manchester is a cigar shop and lounge that exudes character. Located on the strip of Elm Street, it is described as one of the best and safest cigar shops, with a welcoming environment for people of all walks of life. The place has a great, excellent, and solid selection of cigars at good prices across its multiple stores, each with its own decor and personality. There is a bar in the back for a strong drink, making it a great place for a cigar and a drink. The staff is consistently noted as super friendly, very funny, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, acting with hospitality even at closing time. The clientele is also friendly. The ambiance is nostalgic, with a fun lounge where smoking is part of the experience. The seating is plenty, worn, and broken in. The music, such as tunes from the 50's, adds to the character, and every square inch is decorated. Customers report feeling like part of the family and highly recommend it for a neat, well-worth-it stop.
I just moved up here from South Carolina. I had a terrific cigar room down there and was a little worried I wouldn't be able to find something comparable. That being said, Castros is outstanding. So glad I found it. This will be my cigar go-to while here in NH.

First time at Castro's Back Room in Manchester and I really liked it. We went and sat in the back and had some cigars and drinks. The music that was playing was 50's and I loved it alot of people that were there were singing along. Will definitely be back.
