If able to get a human being on the phone thru are very nice, but a great deal if chaos and confusion going on in the company at large currently. Shorthanded, out if date tracking systems. They encourage employees to meet quotas fir extra bonuses, but that often results in mistakes made, tired and crabby drivers who toss packages recklessly because they're in a rush. Both Walgreens and another local (grocery) store will accept Fed-Ex packages, and I understand it’s “not really their thing,” so it’s low frequency for them. They don’t provide shipping labels (which I expected, so I had my own), and these guys scan and that’s it. I only use this type of place to ship fedex when I have to get something out (on or by a certain date) and the regular fedex locations are closed already. Anyhow, I get theat these folks don’t love processing packages. At least at the grocery store, they were polite about it. Not so much here at this Walgreens. I waited for just under ten minutes for the gent working at the photo desk (where they accept packages) to show up (the store was empty, btw), and the gent seemed quite put out having to help me. He did not hold back in terms of vocalizing that it was a pain for him to do this. Maybe he was having a bad day. Anyhow, my experience there leads me to suggest to anybody else that you just wait until the regular FedEx store opens. My tracking number reflected that date I had to get it out by, but because it’s not a real fedex location, it was delayed 4 days. Better off hitting the real fedex store if you can.
