everything there is great, people are very friendly, and I gave been going there a few years- however the one huge turn off is their dubia roach prices. I was told they are so high because they gutload them. when i attempted to buy some, they didnt have any that were properly sized for leopard geckos. they also wanted about thirty dollars for fifteen of them. gutloading is cheap and easy. imo its not something you charge two dollars a roach for. it was honestly the wildest thing i have ever had someone try to excuse. you can get them way cheaper online, and as i said "gutloading" is nothing special that should make the prices that high- at all. I would also go a little further to say the staff knows very little of the reptiles they now sell. it is a newer area to them, as they specialize in fish, but they have no paperwork on ages or anything, although they do sell healthy animals. a lot of the kids that work there, while very kind -dont seem knowlegable about the animals they sell.

I sold my axolotls there a couple month ago and the service was great. All of the fish are very well maintained. And the tanks are really clean. I definitely recommend coming here!

I recently discovered Mike Aquatics and let me start off by saying thank God!!Staff is super friendly and VERY helpful. I had just purchased 6 Pea Puffers from Petco and when they arrived they were infested with parasites and sadly, died 2 days later. With a little searching, I found Mike's, and to my surprise, they also had Pea Puffers. I took the hour ride there, and I'm so glad I did. I ended up buying 6 puffers from them, and you could tell how healthy they were. They were all plump with rounded bellies. All puffers settled in nicely and are eating like champs. My only complaint is the little boogers only eat live foods, but that's no one's fault. Peas are known to be picky eaters, but that's OK, Mike's sells live foods too. Long story short, it's an amazing local shop that I've come to love, and I think you will too!

I used to come here a couple of years ago and forgot the exact name of the place so I looked it up. I haven't been able to get back down in the area but I'm extremely looking forward to it when I finally can again and am glad I figured out now what exactly this store was called. I moved and in the situation I couldn't take either of my tanks and I can't wait to get back into it. This place was truly awesome

The place is small and very filled with fish supplies for PET FISH. This is NOT a bait and tackle store as Google suggested to me. The place is nice though and they have lots of stuff for pets (fish, birds and reptiles).

I went into your store for the first time on Thursday, and we were so in love with it we went back Friday! Your store is amazing and so isn’t your customer service! The two young girls working were excellent! (I believe Heidi and I missed the other girls name, she was new) They were so patient and helpful with all of our questions! We look forward to doing all of our saltwater shopping with you!

Fantastic owner, fantastic staff, fantastic shop. These folks give good, solid advice - even if it means they aren't going to make a sale. They speak to my kids like they assume they can understand a bit of complexity and generally make us feel welcome and appreciated. I'm happy to drive 30 minutes to Manchester to purchase here rather than drive 10 minutes to Petco or PetSmart any day.

I have been going to Fish Mike Aquatics for several years. Staff is always knowledgeable and the store is Grade A+Stock here is superior quality to the box stores and there are some real deals! I have recommended Fish Mike to anyone I can the whole time I have been going there. Awesome aqua-scape material in stock, healthy critters, full rack of plants, and a large selection of just about whatever you may need for reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and insects at this store. Those 'in the know,' shop at Fish Mike ? from my experience. You shop with a different class of clientele here.Mike has rare isopods and pink springtails in stock. I have gotten a couple great deals on tanks when they are on sale. I feel everyone there is considerate about the critters' well beings and are particularly skilled at caring for them. It takes both ?I definitely recommend stopping in and perusing Fish Mike Aquatics, even if it is just to get a feel for the shop. I shop here pretty much exclusive AND all the time. I know a thing or two about fish at this point and I have only heard sound advice given from everyone here to their customers.Staff has of course always been helpful to me whenever I had any questions (which I have). With the Internet, you can find half-a-dozen contradictory answers to a fish/reptile/amphibian related question and I have found it a real benefit to be able to ask for advice from real people here.Pet stores are usually such a drag. It is a superb treat to have such an amazingly high-quality boutique store that you can feel positive about patronizing. Check it out for real ?

Great store. They have a good selection for a smaller store. Very good prices. They have one of the best plant selections I have seen.

Nice store with excellent selection of foods and chemicals/treatments. Livestock is really healthy looking and the options are very nice. The shrimp inventory and selection is a breath of fresh air. Most places simply do not seem to work super hard to keep shrimp in stock or offer variety. Fish Mike’s does both. Staff I worked with got the job done but could benefit from additional training. Owner is clearly invested in positive outcomes for the customer which puts this shop in a good position for a sustainable future.

Wow what a breathe of fresh air in the pet store world. Every single animal in there was happy with life. My fiance and I have been around to every single exotic fish and reptile store in the area and there is only a few I can say I have ever felt comfortable enough giving my money to. I say this because of the quality of care for their animals. But fish mikes... wow. All the tanks were clean, they all had food and water and they were genuinely cared for by knowledable staff that actually cared! They were even dusting around the store as we were there. Truly amazing. Now to the staff themselves, the one gentleman we worked with was a whole dictionary of information and it was amazing. I learned so many new things and he helped us pick out the perfect items for their pea puffers that I couldn't say no to! Biggest round of applause to these guys for their amazing store and staff. I will not be going anywhere else, thank you guys so much for being great people who really love what they do. It truly made the experience unforgettable.

There is a reason this place has 5-star ratings. They are the best in the state as far as I am concerned. I will gladly drive the 1.5 hours to go here. Not only can you find some of the more rare species here, but Its also refreshing to go to a place where the staff are friendly and know their stuff. They also have a beautiful Conure that is their instore bird that always cracks me up.
