Bought a GE dishwasher and also bought the $95 Home Depot protection plan for 5 years. States that they will replace if they can't fix the issue. 14 months after purchase the unit was leaking. They sent their tech out who found that the heating element burned through the bottom into my wood floor. I'm lucky it didn't burn down my house. It couldn't be repaired and thus needs replacement. It's been 13 days since and 3 calls into the "home protection" company with no reimbursement, no call back nothing... I'm on ignore... outstanding customer service.

Zero points to Home Depot’s curbside pickup. They text you when your order is ready, but it isn’t ready when you get there. The curbside employees have to ask you for your order number etc and none of them are wearing face masks. The young man who needed our information practically leaned inside our car. And while sitting in our car (with our masks on) more than half the customers who walked by ignored social distancing rules and were not wearing masks. Argh!!!

During this Corvid 19 this is the most unsafe place to go. No staff wearing mask, the parking lot is an absolute cluster. Curbside is a joke. No one in charge and nothing being organized

Went and picked up a table top propane fire pit that I ordered online. I told the two cashiers at customer service that I also needed a one pound propane tank. They looked in the computer to see where I could find one and when I found they were not in that aisle, they both spent the next ten to fifteen minutes helping me locate what I needed. Despite the tanks not being where they were listed in the computer system, these two never gave up until they found what I was looking for. Kudos to them! Great job!

I'd boycotted this company for 12 years, due to overtly hostile employee incident in Merrimack's store (coworker at my job said it was due to HD management being REALLY bad to staff). Cornered on a project, I ventured into HD recently and my oh my have things changed. Rented a Makita miter saw from Manchester. Staff answered my many questions. Next up, expected the saw to be in poor shape/low quality. Wrong there too, worked so well I wished I could keep it. Upon return, no surprises in costs. Outstanding experience.

Whatever Home Depot has been doing to improve their customer service they get 5 stars from me. The manager was awesome dealing with him, the customer service desk was efficient and the associates were very helpful. Actually walked you where you needed to go, rather than just point. I bought some yard material that had to be delivered. The driver called to let me know when he wld be arriving and was very polite. I also had to call the customer service number (we know how frustrating that can be). I actually talked to a person and they were beyond helpful and quickly resolved my issue. I cld go on and on! As long as Home Depot remains this great it is my number 1 store for home improvements Yes I did have a heck of a week. Ha ha. Washer is being delivered tomorrow. Oh and to top it off, they had the best price for the washer!

I spend a lot of money at Home Depot and never an issue until I tried their tool rental. Rented a stump grinder and was told the blade was sharp. It did not appear new, rather used as expected with tool rentals. But was told it was still good. I have rented stump grinders previously and am familiar with their performance. The grinder I got was burning the wood instead of grinding from the start. When I returned the unit the person working the counter said the blade was fine without looking at it and said it is a slow process. Simply put they didn't believe me. Was not able to do the job, cost me over $90. No offer of a discount or to replace the blade and let take the unit for a couple hours extra. Do not recommend tool rental or will ever use again. To say the blade is fine without looking at it is the sign of a neophyte.

Do not buy appliances from this store. The delivery company they use are awful and when you call Home Depot to complain they do not care. I bought 4 appliances that were to be delivered on Mother,'s Day. (I only got 3 out of 4)The guys could not find the shut off valve for the fridge and told me to call a plumber. They wanted to leave the fridge there with the old fridge and said to call them when I figure out the plumbing. I said no, you take the fridge , I do not have room for 2 in my house. Ugh! So, I call a plumber. He was in ny house less than 5 minutes and charged 110.00 (ouch) he said I should complain and get my money back from the delivery company. He moved 2 ceiling tiles and found it. Sad part is the deliver guys went down there and said they looked and it wasnt there. So I call Home Depot to have my fridge delivered... again. I was on hold 25 minutes because no one from appliance would pick up. The last time I was sent back to whomever answered the call felt bad and suggested I talk to a manager. The assistant manager didnt answer for another 5 minutes. When she did she was quick to get rid of me. Showed 0 care or concern that I was upset. She said she would look into it and call me back. All she did was get someone from appliances to call me. He clearly has 0 customer service skills. He actually told me the delivery people do not need to find the shut off valve. Are you kidding me? How else would they disconnect my old fridge and connect the new??? (Yes we have water and ice maker) The line already existed they just needed to shut it off. ( I'm new to condo life, I had no idea where it was) they knew enough to look in the ceiling. When he said that I was more upset. The only reason he got on the phone with me was to reschedule not make me a satisfied customer. He seemed annoyed that I even complained to him at all. Then he lied to me. I confirmed everything to the point I annoyed myself but I really wanted my new fridge. It was the main appliance I went to get and ended up buying a stove, dish washer, and microwave too. He assured me of the delivery today. He said if not he will deliver it himself (liar). So, I asked for a time window he said he cant give it and they will call. So I'm just supposed to take the day off from work because you cant confirm a 4 hour window??? He said they will call. He could care less. I asked about being reimbursed the $110 for the plumber I had to get because of the incompetent delivery people . He said no they dont do that. Great that's cool thank you for nothing but aggravation in this purchase. So, today comes they said they will come between 10 and 2 and will call half hour before so I can get home. Perfect right? Wrong!!! I get a call at 10 asking my permission to leave the fridge by the garage. I said NO. You need to take the old fridge and hook up the new one. He said that is not what the order says. It says drop off. I said they better not leave the fridge there. He asked if I was home I said no. I was supposed to get a call half hour before. He said yeah, they didnt? I said no. Why would they if they thought they were just dropping off? No one has any clue what they are doing. Home Depot customer service is the worse and I still have no fridge. I call Home Depot again. Nice woman. She 3 way calls with delivery company. Yay, another person with an attiude that doesnt care. She told me I've been rescheduled for Saturday. I said really ? Because no one told me that. There was a note on the door that said call to reschedule. So, if I didn't call just now they were just going to show up Saturday despite them leaving a note on my door? She said so Saturday good or no. Ugh ugh ugh!!! I said I will make it work if you actually give me the call a half hour before delivery. She said someone called me today at 10:30but I didnt answer. I said that is not true . I did talk to someone at 10 who told me they were dropping it off. She said someone called again at 1030 to let you know they were coming. I said that is no

I wish it were possible to give this location 0 stars. I continue to go in, time after time, and it never gets better. In fact, it's gotten worse. Asking somebody for help is pointless. The staff hardly acknowledges you, acts out of breath, seems disturbed, or looks at a device and says the aisle. They butchered our countertop ordering experience. They knew nothing. They actual gave wrong information. They sent the wrong people to our house, and that was just awkward. They are always unapologetic, and full of excuses. I've gone in several times since they butchered my countertop experience (that's still not complete, & the third party company has been a pleasure to work with a I honestly feel bad, because they must deal with some serious crap because of these guys) and it's the same story. Actually I had a guy even more recently in the tool department that didn't know how to use a nail gun. It was their rental...he worked in the department, and I had never used a finish nail gun. Took him a few mins, and he realized I needed an air compressor...â€â€. My wife went in today for help with door handles/knobs. She wanted a specific type so she went to a rep walking around by the dept. All they replied was the aisle number. She said she already knew, but wanted them to look and see if they could either find the ones she wanted or order them because there wasn't a ton of nice stuff available. The person legitimately responded; "I don't know if we have those"...and said again to go check the aisle...complete lack of awareness. It's the kitchen, tool, and general staff; embarrassing. Home Depot is a great company. Need more knowledgeable people. The lawn & garden was much better this summer with a different project. So I guess it's not all bad.

The delivery system is a joke! I am a contractor and order many projects from HD. I am confident saying that almost every delivery is screwed up.Just this week I spent three days waiting for a three thousand dollar order to arrive.HD is very good at explaining that the delivery company is the problem. They are not willing to accept responsibility for my three missed days of work which will be four on Monday! In the future,if I can take it with me I MIGHT buy it from them. If it has to be delivered, they will not get my business!

Great experience and customer service. after speaking with a flooring representative I was told the peel and stick flooring would hold to my existing hardwood floors. unfortunately after putting down 3 full boxes that was not the case. I brought the remaining 5 boxes back and explained the situation. despite not having all 8 boxes they refunded me the full amount of my purchase. thank you Home depot Manchester
