There are quite a few more honest, professional, and friendly insurance agents in the state of NH-find someone other than Lowell. I’m wondering if his actions in my situation are even legal- but they definitely are not ethical or respectable.
I purchased my first multi family in November 2024 and the short version of a multi -month story is that I asked Lowell for a quote to bundle my home with my auto policy. I have had my auto through him for years with no problem. Lowell told me he was sending someone for a quick home inspection and would write me a quote then call me to discuss. He never called.
Several weeks later I received a letter from my mortgage company that they received my new insurance information from Allstate. Having not heard from Lowell, I called him to confirm. He reassured me that he would be reaching out to me and that when he pushed a quote, “something must have triggered to send to your mortgage company, but that does not usually happen.” I said okay and that I will look forward to seeing the breakdown of a quote before switching from my current policy. The current policy runs until Nov 2025 and at this point in the story, had already been paid in full upon closing on the property in Nov 24.
Upon the first week of April when I called to make my mortgage payment, I heard an auto message stating that my escrow had paid out a sum of money to Allstate. Sure enough, in my App, I now have a homeowner policy I never authorized, knew about, or requested. I requested a quote.
This again, is the short story. Lowell was extremely argumentative with me, loud, overly angry and completely unprofessional. I am also in sales and am not a sensitive person or someone offended easily. I was in absolute shock at his demeanor, especially when in a hot seat and getting approached about his dishonest behavior as an insurance agent.
I have decided to move forward with another very well recommended agent in Merrimack NH, still with Allstate as the parent company is friendly towards my large breed dogs.
Take my warning seriously and do not bother. He is nice at first, and for years. Then he gets very ugly when he does not get his way or if he feels he can take advantage and make a few extra bucks.

Terrible agent. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Paid my policy in full then was told later I owed more money from progressive insurance. He won't do anything to resolve it. Does not answer his phone and when you do talk to him he is extremely rude. Wish I could leave negative stars.

Terrible customer service. I was promised a return call from my agent in 30 minutes, never called me back. I called back 3 days later to ask why my insurance increased 300%, the response he gave me was that my house is worth a lot more now. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Lowell has always been helpful and gets right back to you when needed and follows up to make sure everything is all set

I had been calling around all morning for insurance and I’m SO glad I found Lowell! So many agents aren’t available on the weekends (which is my only time to handle this) and he made it super easy to get a policy with Allstate. He took the time to go through each part of the policy and bundle to give me the best discounts and coverage available. I would definitely recommend Lowell to anyone looking for auto coverage!

Lowell is rude and disrespectful and knows nothing about customer service. Tries to charge random lump sums of money (hundreds and hundred of dollars) when making monthly payments and still expects monthly payments to be made. Is not responsive and lacks basic human decency

Lowell is disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. He is non responsive and does not do what he says he's going to do. After making monthly payments for car insurance at an agreed amount he said that I needed to pay a lump sum of almost $600 and continue to pay a monthly amount. That's never happened in the five years I had insurance before him buying this Allstate branch. I told him I was not going to continue coverage with him and that I would be finding a new insurance company which I did within a day and he is coming at me to pay him this lump sum that was for continued coverage with no basis.
