Good breakfast food, decent coffee, not a great hang. No public bathrooms, little seating.

The service was great. The woman who took my order was very pleasant and my sandwich came out in a timely fashion, especially considering how busy they were. I ordered the "City Hall" (chicken salad with apples, walnuts, and sharp cheddar) on toasted sourdough. So did quite a few other people, ostensibly regulars there on lunch break from work because they walked right up to the counter without even looking at the menu and ordered it, so I was thinking, "Wow, this is going to be as great as it sounds!" Well...not exactly. I was a bit puzzled to see that the apples and walnuts were not mixed into the chicken salad, but sprinkled on top. Okay, unusual, but no big deal. Then I bit into it, and my first impression was that something tasted sour. Not in a spoiled/rotten sort of way, but it was odd. The apples appeared to be Granny Smith apples, which can be pretty sour, so I figured that was it. Was it ever! I tried a piece of the apple by itself and it was VERY sour! Like it had been covered in lemon juice, which it probably had been to prevent browning, since the apples were chopped and sprinkled on top. I looked back over the menu, and they also offer a regular chicken salad option, presumably without the walnuts and apples, so that probably explains the weird presentation. One pool of chicken salad served two ways. So, while it didn't exactly "wow" me (probably closer to a 3 based on just the sandwich) I will go back to try other menu items. The prices are reasonable, especially when you consider that there are many choices that include a (very) small fountain drink. Might be too small for some, but it was fine for me. The quality/freshness seemed good. Worth another shot.

Usually get "the Beacon" when I am in the area. Have recently tried other options, including a delicious meatball sub. Midtown is my go to when I am in Manchester. I live an hour away. Love their cappuccinos. Service is great.

Online menu not up to date, so I ordered in the shop and waited. $10 grilled cheese and ham to go and found the bread burned and black. (If I made this for myself, I would have started over.) It looks like they need more help during the lunch rush.

The chef Brit makes a mean breakfast burrito I will argue anyone who says otherwise. I go once if not twice a week and it’s goated

The lady behind the counter(didn't ask her name) was wonderful, the tea even more and my panini was exactly how I wanted it with some unbelievable bacon quality. Whenever I forget to bring a lunch I'm going there.

Awful. Stood at the counter, cash ready. None of the FIVE PEOPLE working four feet from me even registered my existence even tho they looked at me several times and one came back and forth to the counter, looked at me, then continued talking with the other woman who was literally three feet away and able to see me. None wearing masks and I was, so maybe it was a political thing who knows, it was just very rude and definitely not customer centric. This is not the way I eould treat a customer. To make matters worse, I was THE ONLY person in the cafe. I usually give a place a second chance but won’t in this case because any of the five people could have helped me, even acknowledged me and politely told me “be right with you” but that didn’t happen. Will be telling everyone I know to not waste their time or money here. There are a ton of better choices to be had in Manchester..

The new employees they have after it reopened are not good. The woman working the register on Wednesday December 1 had an awful attitude. I used to go here at least 1x a week. Not anymore
