I am in awe with the efficiency of this Rite Aid location and the 5 star customer service . I will drive well out of my way to take all of my prescription needs here. I am used to waiting hours for an antibiotic at other more local competitors, but the team on Mast Road had my daughter’s antibiotic filled before I even pulled out of urgent care. The night before a snow storm near closing, I spent less than 5 minutes in the drive through and that includes waiting for the antibiotic to be reconstituted. Everybody is just so friendly! My husband has also taken his prescriptions here and raves about how quick and pleasant the staff is.
And to those complaining about the store closing for lunch. I’m sorry to hear that it’s inconvenient for you. ER providers do take a lunch break, they just have other physicians to cover for them so they don’t have to close. There is often only one pharmacist working per shift, and they need to eat so they don’t make a mistake on your prescriptions, so plan your trip around it!
Thank you all for working so hard and working later and on weekends where so many other chains have cut these hours. We appreciate everything you do for us!

I waited 25 minutes just to have my script rebilled. The pharmacist continued to fill other prescriptions while ignoring mine. I left after 25 min
Without my meds. They won't see me again !!!@

Horrible customer service, way more competent and friendlier pharmacies are nearby that you should use instead

How can a pharmacy shut down for lunch? That's like the ER shutting down. Sorry, your daughter's allergic reaction has to wait, we're eating. Like WHAT!?!?! They said "please come back at 2 though" which was cute but I am here now because I have to work, and my daughter needs her medicine. I get everyone needs to eat and I'm all for paid lunch breaks and taking the time you're owed, but they need to figure out how to take turns.

Me and my mom have been going here for about 2 years now and every time we go through the drive-thru pharmacy there is a person with the worst attitude ever. We have seen about three, one of them being a woman and the other two boys. My mom is a very nice person for her to be getting attitude for trying to her prescriptions for her kids!

My husband went to Rite Aid Mast Rd. today, Feb 22 to pick up prescriptions in which I had 2. He texted me to tell me there was only one and the other did not even show up as pending. I reached out to my PCP and they said it was called in on Feb 19. So I called and spoke to a pharmacist at around 3:45, wish I got his name. He was very condescending and told me I already had a prescription of what was being refilled and should have plenty left which I did, and then he mentioned something about the 27th. Yes, I told him I was leaving on the 27th for a month and the refill was covering that. He then asked me when I was leaving and I said the 27th, he said then come on the 26th and they will be ready. Not sure why that was not relayed to my husband?! It's not that I'm trying to take advantage. I have been to my PCP, Dermatologist, Naturopath, LMT, Acupuncturist, I exercise regularly, eat organic and grass-fed, doing my best!! Insurance is making me wait 6 weeks for possible pharmaceuticals that could help. Maybe this is why Rite Aid is failing? (I'm flaring going on 3 months. Atopic dermatitis) Do not judge me until you have walked in my shoes.
Went back today as we were told to on February 26th at 3:30pm, got to the counter and my husband was told that the prescription was not ready and they had to fill it. I guess the pharmacist that I spoke to on the 22nd wasn't reliable, very concerning as he is responsible to fill people's prescriptions. Guess it's time to change my pharmacy.

I recommend this strictly on the staff, a bunch of hardworking, really nice people. They are always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy it is, and it's busy there pretty much all of the time now. It's also a very clean, neat, well-organized store.

Echoing what has been said prior. I never leave reviews, but things at this location have prompted me to. This pharmacy used to be good, Im not sure what changed, nor is that my job to figure out. Biggest gripe is the customer service. The phones will ring and then kick you back to the main menu. Seemingly anytime I call. I've noticed long slow lines in the store, with this poor woman scurrying back and forth between two registers. Really needs some shoring up, Ill be looking for a better run pharmacy.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but they are clearly one of the stores closing. I recommend changing pharmacies if this is the one you use

I’ve been going to this Rite Aid for the last year or so and they have been great up until a few months ago. Every time I call it just rings and rings until it tosses me back into the main menu. I’m constantly having to call because my medication won’t get filled if I don’t.I only get one med from here and need to use GoodRX, but they always run it through my insurance when I have asked them not to several times. So when I go and get the medication, it’s trying to charge me $180+ and I get to wait around for 20-30 minutes for them to change it and re-run it.Even though my doctor has my prescriptions dated and scheduled, they won’t fill it until I’m on the phone with them and ask them to fill it. That issue combined with the fact that no one answers the phone means I’m going days without my medication because I can’t get in contact with anyone there. The people there are (mostly) nice enough, but the lack of response and support is awful.

Pharmacy is awful continuously says they will order a medication only to never actually order it causing patients to go days without. The staff need to work on their communication between each other and the different shifts and the pharmacists need more training to learn how to run a pharmacy and how to actually help patients. Nothing but ignorance and negligence.
