Studio 550 Arts Center is a friendly community arts center for the complete beginner. It offers one-day workshops and multi-week classes to learn hands-on skills like working with clay, stained glass, drawing, and painting. The instructors are amazing, wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Projects are perfect for kids and adults, and the group sizes are limited for good attention. People from all experience levels can participate and feel included in the welcoming atmosphere. Participants leave with cool creations and many return for more classes. There is also a handmade gift shop available during open hours.
Took a one-day pottery class here with friends. Tons of fun, and well-priced for the time, instruction, and materials.

I have taken the intro pottery wheel class multiple times, and became a member. Have been going to Studio 550 for over 8 years now and absolutely love it! Great pricing, lovely staff.
