Delightful room and great staff. Wonderful Winnipesaukee views. Some nice amenities such as coffee, tea, snacks 24/7. Great dining abounds. Will return.

I truly don't know how this is considered a resort and is 4 stars.
I don't know where to start with the problems honestly, the extra packages we paid for for the room were not in the room when we arrived, was not offered to us or mentioned at check in. We had to go down and get it ourselves.
No room service, no breakfast, all services that were included with our stay were unavailable for the duration of our stay.
All the restaurants shut down at 9 wait times were over 2 hours.
We looked at reviews of the bay point we stayed at and it says its the newest revovation, it is not. Lamps in the room non stop flickering, spider webs and huge spiders in the lobby lights. Balcony doors only open half way and the screen is ripped letting in bugs.
The only thing good about it is the view and you can go plenty of places to get that that are actually habitable. You can't shut the balcony light off, so bugs swarm and you can't enjoy the balcony you paid for .
The traffic getting in and out is bad. If you wanna go to the pool you have to drive a quarter mile down the road to get to the main building.
Was way over priced and will not recommend to anyone.

My husband and I used to love coming to Bay Point for winter and fall weekend getaways for the past few years. After our experience in December for our anniversary weekend, never again. We checked in to a room that had a poop in the toilet and stains on the window seat pillows. The rest of the room seemed like it was cleaned, so I imagine a cleaner forgot to flush after doing their business and because it's relatively dated, they hadn't gotten around to changing the pillows. When I called the front desk to let them know what we found, they offered us a bottle of wine and asked if they could send a cleaner. We don't drink, so I asked what else they could do for us (expecting to offer to change our rooms, maybe take a % off). I was told there was nothing else that could be done. It was late, we were tired from traveling, so we went to eat and then to bed. The next day, their automated text came in asking about our stay. I replied back about the poop in the toilet and concerns nothing was done to remediate this. I was told to call the front desk. Again, told nothing could be done. After our stay, I completed a survey expecting SOMEONE in management might see, in writing, that we came to a dirty hotel room and reach out. It's been almost 2 months and we haven't heard a thing. We will not return to this hotel. It's really too bad, because the location is great but the service over the last year has really gone downhill. Very disappointing. Go up the street another 10 minutes to the next town -- their waterfront hotel is cleaner and service was much better.

Maybe the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.
It started with sitting through route 25 traffic, getting to the hotel and finding out that check in is actually in a different hotel a half mile away. So 20 minutes of traffic later, we get to an incompetent and understaffed check-in desk who had never even seen the place we were staying in, so couldn’t answer any questions about it.
The room was full of ugly mis-matched uncomfortable furniture. The ‘fireplace’ produced no heat, and was controlled by an unmarked switch hidden behind the TV.
There’s no room service, just a restaurant with take -out on the first floor, and no alcoholic drinks allowed to be brought back to the room.
The jets in the spa tub were full of mold.
The water tasted funky
The coffee machine was stocked with 4 pods, all decaf
The bathroom had soap, but no shampoo
the balcony had a nice view, but looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all season.
the traffic on 3 and 25 didn’t quiet down until after 11pm

I have to agree with Glenn B's review. WHERE WAS EVERYONE? Although we did arrive during the sweet spot to be checked in by a real person, I did not see another real person working here during our 48 hour stay.
The room and view were nice but at ~ $450 / night, grossly overpriced for a modest inn not in a major city. Plus we were hit for a "resort fee" that covered parking (again, this is not a city), bottled water (that we were never offered), EV charging (we don't have an EV), and more of little use to us. There were supposedly pools and a fitness center, but you had to drive to another property to use them. There was supposedly a Friday afternoon welcome reception but we didn't see it and it wasn't mentioned during check-in.
Housekeeping did not come at all during our stay We called "the operator" around 4 pm our second day and we were promised by a cheery person that it would be taken care of. It was not. And there were no notices indicating that our room would not be cleaned.
Otherwise, while our room was generally clean when we arrived, the sofa was dirty and stained with something hard and crusted. There was a public bathroom off the sitting room on the first floor that was disgusting (see pictures.) It looked like it had not been attended to in some time.
I wish I had checked the electrical outlet to make sure I could plug in my phone by the bed, as it was blocked by the bedpost, and the bed was impossible for us to move. By the time I noticed, there was no one to tell.
On the positive side, there was a nice coffee station on the first floor, also well stocked with tea, cookies, and granola bars, as well as every type of sweetener you could desire. And the view over the lake IS nice.
Had I paid approximately half what we were charged, I'd probably expected less, but at these prices, I think the place should be cleaner, and better staffed, with reliable housekeeping.

We really loved our overnight stay at Bay Point. The room was beautiful and comfortable, but the best part was the balcony and its stunning view! The other best part was dinner outside there at Lago, always a favorite with that stunning view. Beautiful spot.. I even enjoyed a morning kayak ride, even good for a senior. ?
I will definitely go back.
