“Beautiful store! Felt almost like a shop you would come across in Salem, Massachusetts or New Orleans, Louisiana. Had unique vintage pieces, small decor', body sprays, beautiful antiques, candles, stationary, jewelry, neat cards/postcards, artwork, and more. For a store that I was simply expecting to kill a few minutes at while walking around, I ended up spending a half an hour inside looking over everything (and smelling all the amazing candles and body sprays). Will absolutely return!”

“We spent 2 night's in asland and found this bar estaurant. Lori was the bartender both night's that we spent time there. She was very busy the first night and a little on the rough side, but we totally enjoyed our time together. Our second night, which was July 4, she had a little more time to talk to the customers. If I ever get back there again I hope that Lori's still there. What a wonderful place. Food is good and prices are very reasonable. Common food for the common man.”

“Love this little spot, located in an older building and they only take cash (or personal check?). I don't have a problem with either. We had the soup (lobster bisque) perfect temperature chunks of lobster meat and just the right amount of sherry. Hubby had special fried haddock. It was crisp and flavorful. I had a grilled cheese. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Don't look for gourmet meals or fancy digs, but go for a down home cooked meal. Great menu. Patrons were mostly senior citizens and we all know they like value and quality. They don't just give their money to anyone. Oh! And do yourself a favor and have a piece of homemade pie. To the reviewer who complained about the dip in the floor, we felt it too but thankfully we didn't have to eat on the floor.”

“We were able to obtain this year's Christmas ornament from the Meredith gallery even though the main office of the League was out of stock. Staff was very helpful, told us they would have more on hand the following week, and shipped it without delay. Thanks!”
