The worst employees I have every experienced. I went to the post office today to get some stamps. I couldn't find street parking so went in their parking lot (which I shouldn't have but I was only going in for a minute and the lot was wide open). I told the man working at the desk I would need a few books of stamps. When he grabbed them, I said I would need about 60 total. He responds "So three books. You already said that." He actions and tone were extremely rude. As I'm grabbing my stamps, a woman comes in and says "Who is the black jeep in the lot?" I said it was mine and can move it. She responded "You must move NOW." practically yelling at this point. I said nothing and immediately walked out to my car to move it. She followed behind me and began rudely asking why I thought parking there was okay. I said "I'm moving it like you asked" and ignored her questions. She began badgering me, following close behind me while I walked to my car. I simply asked her to stop following me, and she said she was going to call the cops. I have never been harassed by an employee at a business before. The workers here are miserable, unpleasant people and they take it out on their customers. Don't give them your business and drive a little further to the Laconia post office.

“For less than $1, someone comes to your house and delivers a piece of paper anywhere else in the world you want it to go.”From Wikipedia:The USPS traces its roots to 1775 during the Second Continental Congress, when Benjamin Franklin was appointed the first postmaster general; he also served a similar position for the colonies of the Kingdom of Great Britain. The Post Office Department was created in 1792 with the passage of the Postal Service Act. It was elevated to a cabinet-level department in 1872, and was transformed by the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970 into the United States Postal Service as an independent agency.

for the life of me, I can NOT understand why they ALWAYS mix my mail up with others' mail. Do not waste your time with this service. You will either never receive your mail, or spend days trying to track down whoever the hell got it instead.

Having to deal with the massive influx of packages and staff shortages cannot be easy, but the staff at the Meredith Post Office has been doing a fantastic job! Keep up the good work!

Small town local post office located in the downtown area. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. They offer all the standard postal services and po box rentals.

It must be a substitute mail carrier. Awaiting a package got text msg cannot deliver , no access. There is a mailbox at the end of driveway, no gate & the carrier turned around in my driveway. 800# is useless & no telephone # for local post office.

My post office has a habit of losing my packages, delaying my packages, and returning my packages with tracking numbers to the sender. People there need to be replaced

I was in the Meredith Post office today and I spoke to the Postmaster about an issue I am having with the Colorado Post office where my 2nd home is. The Postmaster made a call and was able to speak to the Postmaster in Colorado and we were able to get the issue taken care of. My wife and I love coming to this post office, everyone is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I swear if pony express were still an option, it would be better than this place.

Horrible!! Staff is rude. They post phony reviews too ... Like people are going to ignore the majority of terrible experiences. ,: I love my beautiful town , one thing that's honestly ticked me off is the mail service in Meredith. If you dont like your jobs then go do something you are good at. Seriously late packages, lying about why things weren't delivered. Wrong address etc. Multiple times they didn't leave notices for deliveries and a lot more crap that shouldn't be happening at any federal post office. Fire those incapable people and hire some people who actually care and are honest. Very much dislike this post office.

I have had numerous problems occur with this post office. Not surprised with the one star rating. The guy who answers always sounds miserable and has a nasty disposition. So my latest issue is when I had to call to see why I had to wait until my tracking number showed as undeliverable. I scheduled a delivery 3 days after nothing... I asked if it was undeliverable why there was no notice left as there were 2 other packages left that day for me. No answer... Really? Look else where really shi**y place...
