I drive from nashua just to shop in a clean store. Friendly staff. Aisles are nice and clean, easy to navigate. I can't stop mentioning how put together this place is, especially compared to the nashua and Hudson locations! They should just close them both, maybe combine into 1... anything besides the chaos that's going on now.

Didn't realize the store was closed at 10am on a weekday and had to go to rite aid down the road. Really could use some hours added to the store that reflect when it will actually be open. Rite aid guy said that they can't find people to work there due to employee pay/treatment. If the drama is so loud the rite aid down the street knows about it, that's a problem. Other than that I found the staff to be friendly enough. Store is understaffed, though.

Service was very friendly.Prices never ring up as they are clearly marked as well as things being in the wrong spot...when you look, u don't read the fine print ...you see the price in bold. No person double checks the small print on the shelf on every item to see if the store did the job right. Not picking on this store...I have been to 3 Dollar Generals and all have overcharged me. Luckily I always remember prices and double check my receipt!! How can this happen at 3 stores all so far away. Hillsboro, Merrimack.and, I believe Auburn...the one onRT 114. I believe it's time for a regional meeting to address the issue folks. Now I don't want to bother, because I know I will be wasting time again. Every time when it should be a 5 minute quick jaunt in and out..it turns into a 25 minute ordeal. Three times in a row..all different locations....?

I made 2 25 min trips out to this location.First time, they closed much earlier than expected due to staffing issues.I got here right at closing...Today I got here. It's open, but the place is a mess and what I came for isn't even out yet. Totally wasted trip both times just looking for the seasonal Fall stuff that other people are showing in videos from around the country.There's Dollys LOADED with boxes of MERCH EVERYWHERE in this store and it seriously looks like only 1....one person is working and it's the person that told me she was closed two weeks ago.She looks very tired and obviously trying to make the best out of a bad situation.She's probably severely underpaid as well. That's probably why you can't get anyone to work there either.But I bet Dollar General's CFOs and CEOs get awesome compensation.

I don't mind if you are going to change hours, but can it be done somewhere other than on a hand written piece of paper taped to the door? Many of us rely on correct reports of hours open on the website. I understand that you may be understaffed, but don't allow the website to continue to report false opening hours.

They haven’t updated their prices on the shelves when things go up, and it’s a surprise for customers when things are being rung up. I find it hard to trust a company that operates like that.

Poor management always very messy,have been in several times over past cpl years n up until a few weeks ago.never agai. tthat my mom lmost fell three times there was junk everywhere. prices on products are often wrong. food is expired o nthe shelf or in the coolers. the bathrooms are a mess and i doubt any cleaning goes on. the workers do not seem happy and the store mgr goes around blasting music that many customers like me do not want to hear

Drove 20 minutes to get here just for them to be closed. There is a written note on the door stating they close early due to being understaffed. That's okay, but it's 4:50 in the afternoon. The note states they close at 7:00.Hey Dollar General start paying your employees better. Start treating your staff better, maybe they will actually be open.

Understaffed to the point where it has been suspiciously shut down for days on end due to "illness", when there are typically more than one staff member working on premises at a time. Often cluttered, closed for a day after the Fire Marshal shut them down for having completely blocked off several aisles that were closed for shopping. Prices on the shelves and prices at the counter a more often incorrect upon ringing up than they are correct and a manager has to fix every individual item. If you're not paying attention to prices when you get rung up at the counter, you WILL get ripped off. Under managed. Off site management simply does not care about the store.

The shelves were empty. Downloaded app to use coupons only 1 coupon worked. Cashier knew I was using app for first time. Didn't check to see if I had all coupons. Items in wrong area. $7 brushes on $1.35 slot and they wouldn't honor price. Items in same place after 5 days.Im really disappointed in Dollar General in Merrimack.

Pretty certain they're going out of business, no sign saying they were closed, normal hours still posted at storefront, but the store isn't open. The employees are always screwing around in the office and the store is a mess. It's too bad, because they're very conveniently located, but it's easily the worst Dollars General I've been to.
