Years ago, we moved to the area & before we could get into our new vet's clinic our Oakley developed kennel cough. No one could see him on short notice without him being a patient, but Banfield did! We have since used our local vet clinic for the past 4 years, but their prices have been steadily increasing. Oakley needed a dental cleaning & a few bad teeth addressed. Our old vet quoted us over $3,000! I called a dozen vets in a 45 min radius looking for a second opinion. A few couldn't give quotes over the phone without seeing him, understandably so. Banfield was so kind! They spent easily over 15 minutes on the line with me & gave me ballpark estimates as well as told me about their wellness plan that includes yearly dentals! She got me on the schedule for a consult within a week. We hadn't done a dental cleaning up until now because of how expensive they are. We added up our regular yearly costs at our old vet clinic and compared them to the active care plus plan and it was a no brainer to switch. Every one from the receptionists to the vet techs were so kind and compassionate. He had his dental setup within a week! We paid a fraction of the cost our old vet would have charged us without compromising care. They assured me he would be monitored the same as a human going under anesthesia and had not one but two techs assisting the doctor. Dr. Ridel treated him as if he was one of her own. She called me 3x the day of (before, during, and after surgery) to update me how he was doing, explain her findings & recommendations every step of they way. She kept me in the driver's seat for decision making and was transparent with costs and risks/benefits for every intervention. I could not have asked for a better experience! We are switching our other pup over to the OWP & we have already recommended them to several peers as well. Thank you for providing such passionate excellent care at an affordable price!

I always feel like the Banfield vets and staff are treating my dog as if she were their dog. They always ask me questions related to my dogs behavior and want to know if anything is out of the ordinary with her. I just feel that she is getting the attention and treatment that she deserves.

My small dog went in for a routine tooth cleaning, having one lower tooth loose from playing tug-of-war. They put him under and, without permission, removed four of his teeth. He won't be going back for a cleaning, needless to say. I can brush and scale his teeth perfectly fine without that sort of "help"

They are all amazing at this location. My dog was so scared of going to the vet and after a few visits she's so excited to see them! I appreciate how much they care about her feelings/emotions and still get everything she needs done efficiently. Worth every penny with the plan because of this location.

My wife Debbie took our 13 year old ShiPoo (Oreo) to see the vet on 3/18 due to her declining health. My wife ended up meeting up with Becky & she could not have been more understanding & caring for Oreo. Becky ran several tests etc on Oreo. She was very professional and caring. My wife told Becky that she wanted to come home & talk to me about Oreo’s conditions etc. I called the office on 3/21 & went over a few things with Robyn & Becky. I mentioned to them our dog/family member seemed to be fading & we didn’t want to see her in any pain. Everyone we spoke to was very caring & compassionate to our needs and they understood that we wanted what was best for Oreo. With a heavy heart we as a family decided to have Oreo euthanized because it would be best for her not to suffer or feel any pain. We scheduled a euthanization to be done at Banfield Merrimack on 3/25 with our family by Oreo’s side. We are all very pleased with the dignity, respect & compassion we received from all of the staff at Banfield, especially Becky during this very difficult time. We as a family will be forever grateful of the care Oreo received from Becky at this difficult time and all of her other check ups. This was the most difficult decision we had to make & we are all very appreciative of our time we spent with Oreo over the last 13 plus years. We all had a great last few days with Oreo & we know she did too.Thank you Becky & all the staff at Banfield Merrimack for making this process go as smoothly as possible. We all know Oreo is at piece now

Banfield has been our vet for the past 13 years. The wellness plans allow us to spread our vet bill over the 12 months. All vaccines are covered, wellness visits are covered and 24 hour vet questions answered. We have followed our vet to different locations since she is so AMAZING !! Some think of it as a “mall” vet… it’s not they truly make connections with you and the pets and you have the choice to see the same one for all your needs. Shout out to Banfield at Mercy in Merrimack NH and Dr Reidel and Sarah .. they have helped us through some tough times with as much compassion as if it was their pet having the issues. They really care !
