Great staffing & a good selection of machines. Wish there was more plus a sauna & steam room. Closest one is off of Callaghan since the prue location shut down.

No one wipes the equipment down. No reason a chain gym can’t afford gym staff that goes through at least every hour or so cleaning. They need signs up as well reminding people to do this. It’s just gross. A lot of the machines are old, rusted, and need to be replaced as well as some the free weights.

I'm not sure what sone some of the reviewers here are expecting but I have no issues with Fitlab Milford. I'm here 4-5 days a week and look forward to the time I can spend working out. Usually best part of my day. There is enough equipment to get something done even at the busiest times. Staff is friendly and helpful. Other benefit is the other Fitlab gyms in the area to get some variety.

I have been going to FitLab for 2 years. It has its ups and downs but I couldn't imaging going anywhere else, this place is like our 2nd home.

Not a surprise to me that this place has a two star rating. Prices are high and upon agreeing to a membership you are locked in for 12 months which they are happy to omit from the membership discussion but rather slide in on the fine print of the contract. Inside of the place is dark and shabby, area is small. Looks like the interior decorator was a vampire moonlighting as a sex dungeon designer. Don't waste your money go to literally any other gym in the area. You could pay about the same for a Y membership and get literally everything they offer plus pool, courts, classes, daycare, sports leagues ect.. Or planet fitness is a cheaper option with a better environment.

Absolute complete frauds. I have never been to the gym in my life and they started charging my card. Now i have to take these frauds to court

I have been going there for 4 1/2 years and it is alright. With the exception of the daycare, the staff is constantly changing (Probably because. like most retail managers, they are under pressure to make a sales quota). In the time I have been there, the gym is on their 10th manager. Most managers are there from a few weeks to a few months before another one takes their place. I am friendly with everyone, members and staff, and it is great to say hello to familiar faces every time I go in. The gym is basic with your standard cardio machines (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, etc.), weight machines and dumbbells. There is also a group room that I use when doing my strength training. The personal trainers are nice people, but many are also trying to close a deal to get you into their personal training sessions (You get two free sessions when you join). I have nothing against them, but don't like to be given a hard sell. When I tell most of them to not hard sell me, they are cool with it. A lot of members do not bother to lock their lockers, which I think is foolish, and I warn them to do so if they don't want their stuff stolen (It may be a small town, but a public, unlocked locker is not a trust exercise). Considering there are not many gyms in the area (the overpriced Hampshire Hills and the new moderately priced Anytime Fitness in Amherst), the rates are better than most.

This place stinks. Literally. The BO smell is overwhelming. There is always broken equipment. I have had things stolen from the lockers. Sneakers, a yoga mat, an iPod. I have tried to contact their nutritionist- but they don't answer back. The classes are okay- but some of the instructors are hard to follow. The childcare is in a closet sized room with 2 teens watching over in between updating their Facebook statuses. They seem like nice enough girls- but they don't have any room in there to do more than sit.... The place needs new ventilation, updated machines, larger childcare room, better air conditioning, and perhaps a gentle reminder to the guys grunting and yelling as they weight lift- that no one wants to hear it? If there was another place nearby that had childcare- I'd be there in a jiffy!
