I just recently had another great experience with Bob! My 2020 Mazda 3 had a known issue with the engine thermostat(the thermostat gets stuck open preventing the engine to warm up) and my car was taking 20 mins for the engine to warm up and it was taking a long time for the heater to make hot air. When I called the Mazda dealer they told me Mazda will only fix the issue for free if the check engine light comes on, even though the car was clearly having an issue. The dealer also told me the Part is $700 and would cost $1000 to repair with labor. Bob knew that Mazda uses a kit for these warranty repairs and was able to repair my vehicle (parts and labor) under $400. Now my car is running like new again and it only takes a couple mins to heat up the cabin (especially helpful this time of year). This also saves my car from wear and tear from the engine running cold. I can’t speak highly enough about Bob’s expertise and service.

Purchased a vehicle from Bob a couple months ago. Great experience and great car. Came to get it inspected recently and he said no charge for the work done on it (caliper). He said it was under warranty. He stands by the cars he sells. I will continue to come back.

I am going to highly recommend that you go here this guy is knowledgeable and takes care of his customers. He understands that people have needs and he gets it done He's super quick with fixing your vehicle and his vehicles on his lot are in almost perfect condition I highly recommend you go to him if you need a vehicle or any kind of service done

I bought a kia from Bob at a great price, plus he is a mechanic that inspected it and paid title fee, I walked away with an inspected vehicle, temporary plates and a great running vehicle 👍 very easy to do business with, I'm a happy camper

Horrible place horrible people horrible mechanic I bought my first car off of him not even 5 months ago keep in mind I’ve put only 4,000 miles on this car I bought it at a decent price $3500 for a ok car not even a week later breaks were shot he fixed it no cost 5 months later going to inspect the car and got estimated $2200 worth of labor and parts for the car that shouldn’t have been inspected in the first place. Now tell me why he wouldn’t tell me about all these problems when I bought the car knowing he’s a mechanic he obviously knew what was wrong when he sold it to a 16 year old as his first car now all I have to say is he may be nice but he is truly a P.O.S and will not be getting one bit of service from me anymore and I will leave a photo of what was wrong with the car but please avoid buying cars here

Wouldn’t recommend going here for any body work. Got my car back and the quality was very poor. Brought back a second time due to not finishing everything that was on appraisal that he had been paid for. Work quality was still poor the second time not going to even try to bring it back a third time.

I was recommended to A1 in Hudson, New Hampshire by my son. I was greeted by Bob, the owner, who had a great personality and was very familiar as to my problem.. He was able to get me right in for service And diagnosed my car issue immediately . He gave give me a very reasonable price and I knew I was dealing with an honest and knowledgeable mechanic. I’m really grateful that I went to his shop and will be using him in the future. I will also be referring him to my friends. Thanks Bob.

My wife recently had an issue with her transmission, that left her stranded on the side of the highway. Due to the severity of the issue, we thought it would be appropriate to tow the vehicle directly to the dealer to inspect and remedy the problem. Upon dropping the vehicle off, we learned the dealer would not even be able to look at the issue for 7-10 days. Learning this, my wife and I were concerned we would be without a vehicle for a long period of time and looked for additional solutions. We called Bob and he explained he would be able to look at the vehicle right away, and provide a solution post inspection. This was great to hear after learning the dealer could take at minimum 2 weeks for the car to be fully repaired. After we dropped the car to Bob he handled the situation professionally, and with great respect. Bob also explained the transmission he was going to purchase for the vehicle as well the repair process and the warranty. He even offered a loaner vehicle while the work was being completed. Not only was Bob accommodating, but his price was also extremely fair amongst the market and saved us money we would have spent at the dealership. Weeks after repair the car is running great, and with the transmission working properly we have already seen a fuel economy increase. Needless to say, I would recommend Bob to any family or friend, and certainly will use his services for maintenance going forward.

I bought a 2004 dodge Dakota from a1 automotive in July 2023. It has been running great. I love this truck. Anytime I have needed something Bob has met all my needs with professionalism and care. I absolutely love this truck. I highly recommend a1 automotive. Bob stands by his work

My daughter bought her first car from Bob in July. It was in excellent condition and Bob was very honest in telling us the check engine light had been on, but that he had replaced an oxygen sensor to fix the problem. Unfortunately, shortly after getting it home, the engine light came on again. We called Bob and he was extremely courteous and told us to bring it right back. Due to the type of code it was giving, it could have been a few different problems, so we had to bring it back a few times while Bob replaced various parts trying to get the light to shut off, all at no charge to us. The way we saw it, when you’re buying a 2008, you can’t be surprised by a check engine light. Bob gave my daughter a loaner car every time so she could get to work and school. At no point did we ever get an attitude from him and he never tried to avoid us. When a lot of other dealers would have pointed to the “no warranty” part of the deal, Bob did not leave us hanging. His integrity is admirable and I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from him or refer friends and family.
