Absolutely awful customer service. Please take down from your website that a battery price costs more because it comes with a “free installation.” Maybe update it to “free installation if we feel like it.” because that seems to be the actual standard. Chose to get the battery here and pay more so that I wouldn’t have to deal with installing the battery myself. Called the store after purchasing the battery for pickup and got a kid that said “we might be able to”. Okay well I’m not towing my car there for a maybe so I decided screw it I’ll just do it myself. Go there to pickup the battery and the manager asks “oh do you need someone to install the battery?” Are you KIDDING ME. Then the kid who answered the phone earlier said “well I said maybe so I thought you were still going to have the car towed here.” Like WHAT. Do not waste your time. Save 125 bucks and go buy the same battery at Walmart, took ten minutes to install. Such a waste.

I just left this particular AutoZone location. Your staff needs to be reeducated on how online purchases through digital payment methods work. I purchased wiper blades online the night before. When I went to pick them up the associate ask for my ID and the card I used to make the purchase. I explained that this was made using Google Pay online and that it is not possible to produce the virtual card that was used to process the purchase. He's still insisted on seeing the card despite explaining why that was not possible (he read me the last four digits of the virtual card number which would not match the physical card). At that point I called him an idiot and told him to cancel the order. I then went back into the store to show him the email I got that had a barcode that he simply needed to scan, and pointed out in the email where it says using PayPal (I used Google Pay but same type of virtual system), there was no need to show any card may it be digital or physical, your associate still insisted that I was wrong. By that time the order was already canceled and at least he obliged when I asked to purchase wiper blades. When I ask the name of the manager he says that it is him, even though his name tag says parts associate, and when I asked for contact info for corporate he just told me it was online. When he said have a nice day after I the ripped the from the printer and took I the pair of wiper blades, It old him to F off, as at that point I was I was understandably upset. In the past I've always bought parts online from multiple AutoZone locations and never had an issue. This is certainly not the way I wanted to start my Sunday morning.

I had a great experience at AutoZone! Uriah helped instruct me on how to replace my battery; saving me money. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable.

Edit:After writing this, I learned that the missing brake pad clips are not sold as a separate kit anymore. Instead, they come with the pads directly... if you buy the right pads. I was offered three different pads to purchase and opted for a set that apparentlydoesn't include those clips. So a part of this problem is on me. I would have appreciated a warning with the options but people can judge this for themselves. Changing to 3 starsOriginal Post:I called to order brakes and rotors. No problem. I asked to do curbside pickup (which the store offers) because my son was asleep in the back seat. The employee declined 3 times claiming that they were too busy to do it and that I couldn't pay over the phone.I was only 2 minutes away so I went anyway. Yes, I had to wake up my son. When we walked inside, the place wasn't busy at all. Literally 2 staff and no other customers. The same guy I spoke to walked to the counter. He faked being winded! Quite obvious because after 20 seconds, he very suddenly stopped breathing heavy. He then complained about having to work the holiday weekend and how "back in his day", people just stopped a project if they didn't have what they needed. I get it and I might even agree but complaining to a customer about customers isn't going to help. It's just unwelcoming. I ignored it.At some point, employee number 2 shows up and sees me buying 80 pounds of hardware while carrying a 1-year old child. He offers to carry things outside for me. Kinda like curbside pickup. This was great and highly appreciated. I accepted and thanked him multiple times as we left. +1 starHere's the best part and the bit that motivated this review. The problem employee didn't mention the brake pad kit! It has those disposable metal clips that hold the brake pads on the shoe. So I have to drive out again for parts and now with questionable brakes. I'm glad I noticed before starting the work.Thankfully, I don't live near this store. I'll buy the brake kit from my local Napa.

Auto Zone really is pretty great. They have good inventory, helpful staff and compelling deals and specials. Can't beat brick and mortar when you need something today.

Pretty well run store. Prices are a bit higher than when I order at Amazon, but you can get your things right away and that’s important when you need to keep your car running. In our case, a store employee recommended we also replace another item (another bulb we didn’t think about) and sure that saved us another trip.Store is clean and employees are generally attentive.

Once again this autozone has failed miserably. I don’t want to pull the race card so I’m going to go with laziness and just rude. This place is completely useless and doesn’t want my money. A simple thing as look up a break code to find which size rotor I have they didn’t want to do. So I went with another auto parts store locally and within 3 minutes of giving him the code they found the exact break size. Now that place gets my business and I will never go to any AutoZone ever again. I can’t figure out what this stores problem is but they are the worst auto parts store in existence. I’m paying $50 more with a smile knowing I will never deal with them again. Thanks for being so rude and nasty!
