I love Macy’s, but I had a disappointing experience this afternoon. I went to the Estée Lauder counter to buy a foundation, but the employee told me she didn’t have the time to do a color match. What made it worse was that she wasn’t even busy. I couldn’t help but think—if this were a small business, such an attitude could really hurt.
Fortunately, I decided to visit the Macy’s in Salem, NH, and the experience was completely different. Even though the employee there was busy, she still took the time to help me with a color match. Her kindness and professionalism made a big difference.

Online pickup team was helpful and friendly. I did notice an extension cord taped to the rug, for a big box store, it seems like they could do a little better, it had certainly been there a while.

This store should just sell perfume. Im allergic to perfume and it would wreck my day walking into this store as the perfume area is near the entry. Reasonable prices are not to be found here and there is no "WoW" about a gift from Macy's anymore. That generation is either broke, too selfish, or shops at more expensive retailers in their effort to let you know they have money.

I hate leaving bad reviews but they make a difference. Very unprofessional experience from men working in furniture section. I’ll never shop here without taking pictures of signs again! I would not have grabbed a $300 item if I did not see the %60 off sign. I understand that’s the price, they just moved the sign to make me feel crazy instead of apologizing… just please do better it sucked

Horrible because of just 2 or 3 staffers on the whole lower floor. It's probably due to inability to hire.... at their poor wage rates.
