Would give 0 stars if I could. Scheduled an appointment through their website and showed up on time only to be sent away saying they wouldn't do my inspection. Could have let me know ow ahead of time instead wasting my time and money traveling to the rubbish place.

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience during my recent visit. Here’s what happened:
- I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment.
- Initially, I was told the service would take approximately 30 minutes.
- However, after waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I was approached with a list of additional repairs they claimed needed immediate attention. While I agreed to address a couple of these issues during a future appointment, I informed them that I had a doctor’s appointment and was already running late.
- At this point, the service manager (whose name I unfortunately do not know) became hostile and started yelling at me. Shockingly, he refused to return my car and told me to leave the property.
- Left with no other option, I had to involve the police to resolve the situation. After their intervention, I finally got my car back.
This experience was not only stressful but also deeply concerning. The behavior of the service manager was unacceptable, and I sincerely hope no malicious actions were taken with my vehicle that could compromise
its safety.
I would not recommend this location based on this incident, and I urge management to address such unprofessional conduct to ensure no other customer has to go through something similar.

Bought a battery here and was told that despite not having a retail shop I could bring back the old battery for a core exchange. Tried to return the core today and was told they do not take cores. Waste of time and money.
Edit 3/11/25: Despite providing Pep Boys my email and phone number via the email in their response below, they have not reached out to resolve this.

I wish I read these terrible reviews before scheduling an appointment. I showed up at 350 for an inspection sticker reservation I had at 4pm. The cashier looked at his watch and said we’re all leaving in 5 minutes for a funeral let me check to see if anyone can even do it. He said someone died and we’re all leaving right now to go to the funeral. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable as if I was interrupting them and causing them to be late to a funeral. Another clerk that was standing there could tell we were uncomfortable and smiled at us and said it was ok and not to worry about it. If my reservation didn’t work then I would expect a phone call before showing up as I’m pretty sure funerals take time to plan and don’t happen same day as the death. He walked back in after checking to see if someone would do it even though they don’t close until 7pm. About 45 minutes later after sitting in their dirty waiting room listening to him say n-word this & n-word that to a few other workers standing around, I got a sticker. The entire time my girlfriend and I sat there we felt uncomfortable. Why make people feel bad for you having to work at your job you chose? Clearly they weren’t closing any time soon but he felt the need to make us feel like we were terrible people for showing up to a reservation. I will definitely not be back and tell everyone I know to stay clear of Nashua pep boys. Very unfortunate as I am a fan of the others in MA I have been to many times. I just moved to NH so I had to find a new one. I don’t know the man’s name or I would absolutely post it. Pep boys do better.

Made an appointment yesterday for 1:00pm for a wheel alignment it took them nearly 2 hours to complete, after they were done i drove home and the tpms light came on and the steering wheel was not calibrated correctly. after returning to the store they straighten out my steering wheel but did not fix the problem because the car is now pulling to the right and my right wheel is chipped, i called the store and the manager Charles McCarty was very rude and when i asked for a refund he refused and hung on me. I will never recommend this store or any of its locations to anyone i will also will be calling calling the corporate offices to put in a complaint because this is not ok. The store is in nashua nh store id 0850.

Took 2 hours for a an oil change and tire rotation with a schedule appointment. The attendant was rude and gave little to no information when I asked about the status of my vehicle and said it would be ready shortly when it wasn’t even close to being ready. If you’re looking for terrible customer service and a place to waste hours out of your day, look no further.

The store is a messy and unkept ,I asked to use the restroom and had to walk around and step over all kinds of tires in the path, and the bathroom was very dirty. they spend more time on the phone gossiping about other employees than checking out customers, the times they quote are off by at least a minimum of 1.5 hours longer.. my wife had the same problem with her appointment, to be honest we will never return there for any reason two bad experiences in a row is not acceptable , and will not be suggesting them to anyone that asks

I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Simply put work was done, they were paid by warranty company. Issue was not resolved, took the car back to them, they kept it for a day just to tell me you have to “take it to the dealership, we can’t read the codes”. Attitudes / customer service is crap, either be good at the job or great customer service, obviously both are preferable but if not pick one. Just crap!

Horrible experience, I was the 3rd car there. And it took them almost 4 hours to check my brakes. Just to tell me nothing is wrong. And then they made up that my alignment was off. When in reality it didn’t need changing at all. The next day I almost got into accident. No cars around me by the way. The car alignment was so off it was making me drive right.

Went for a state inspection for my car 1 week ago. Immediately felt some racist undertones to my interaction. After getting home noticed chewing gums stuck into different crevices inside the car. Wonderful.

I arrived for a tire appointment that I had booked five days prior, they said it would take two hours. It took
5 1/2 hours. They called me four hours to inform me that they did not have all four tires that I needed so they had to go get more, that took another hour and 20 minutes. The store is also completely filthy. Trashes are full. No one has swept or cleaned the store in months, one bathroom is completely incapacitated in the other bathroom is filthy.

I did the inspection at this place yesterday, it lasted 3 hours, but they put the tag wrong, I went today to have it removed and they told me to come back tomorrow, it is one of the worst places to visit.

Highly do NOT recommend this experience to anyone. If you have a shop that treats you well that maybe costs a little more, just use them, it will be worth it. For whatever $$ you might save here you will spend a 1/2 a day of frustration and being trapped. I'm sure you can guess the particulars....long waits, rude service, etc.
