“This is a small art gallery led by owner Mr. Don Boxwell. Best known for framing artwork, Don and his assistant Peter are very personable in framing your painting or print the way you would like. Both are quite patient, though willing to offer advice, and have a good array of frame styles and mats available. They want to see the artwork framed in a manner that will please the customer. Jon in the back is the individual in charge of the physical framing and is an expert. Mr. Boxwell also has a small offering of artwork and sculpture for sale, and will sometimes have a featured artist with their work taking up a couple walls of the store. But again, Tatewell Gallery is best known for their framing work and they do a great job: I have had many prints, photos and paintings framed here over the years, upwards of a hundred actually, and have been very pleased. Don is quite knowledgeable and has good taste and an eye for what will work and be fitting, especially so regarding matting. Therefore, highly recommended as a framing store, but also as a place to stop by, view some nice art and shoot the breeze.!”
