Love colonial pharmacy that's so courteous. It's so clean. The stores are easy to find stuff in and they always have a regular cool hand made Christmas ornaments and Christmas decorations. I absolutely love New London. I recommend to everybody at least checking it out. Even if you don't need anything at the pharmacy, just go see all the cool handmaid products that they have from people all over Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine is absolutely beautiful and cool. Really cool to see that stuff at stores.

If you’re looking for New Hampshire gifts to take home or decorate your own home with authentic homemade items the Colonial Pharmacy is where I’d recommend grabbing them.

I'm not sure what the older gentleman's deal is, but if he doesn't know you he treats you like crap. Has an arrogance that is off-putting. I have filled multiple prescriptions here and yet he took forever to fill my one easy antibiotic prescription (25mins). Didn't even act like it was a problem.

I have been a patron of Colonial Pharmacy since the early 1970s, when the store, with its quaint worn wood floors and dusty shelves, was in its first location on Main Street. But tradition is not what warrants this pharmacy's 5-star rating. Currently, I find that most of the pharmacists, technicians, and front-line help are attentive and accommodating. This is especially the case with the way they have managed to skillfully jump through the many hoops involved with federally regulated medication supply problems, persistent pre-approval protocols, and insidious drug monitoring program (DMP) barriers to optimum healthcare service.

Unfortunately we have had consistently subpar service. We avoid Colonial Pharmacy whenever necessary, which is unfortunate because it is very conveniently located and we try to support small businesses instead of chains (like CVS or RiteAid). I should not feel like a burden or less of a person for submitting a prescription.

I have had numerous incidents of them making mistakes on my monthly pill packs. The people who work there turn over quite a bit, so it is not unusual for well intentioned people to not know what they are doing. Your best bet is to talk directly to a pharmacist. I would characterize the customer service as poor. I would avoid Colonial Pharmacy, if you can.

It is unfortunate the pharmacy is such a disaster and nothing gets done about it. I wonder if they ever read these Yelp reviews. I will suggest they do next time I go in. Ive had the same experiences as other reviewers. it's incredibly inconvenient to go in expecting your refill to be ready only to find out they ran out of your medication. No one notifies you of this. Or they put it back because you didn't show up in 3 days. I agree with other reviewers that the staff can be quite unfriendly, and even rude. if you don't like working there go somewhere else and hurry. There are plenty of jobs out there right now. I could go to concord instead. A little farther away for me, but if I always have to make two trips to pick up a prescription in the long run I'd be better off. FIY: SUNDAYS ARE THE WORST DAY TO GO IN THERE. NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING, and it doesn't appear that there is anyone to ask. I had to say my name 3 times, and spell it. They couldn't find my prescription. It was there..

The store is fine but worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes to get your prescription ( when it is already prepared).

Yesterday Colonial Pharmacy was very busy. I witnessed a short haired female pharmacy employee complain loudly about wanting to go home and how she didn’t like how busy it was and how she was supposed to have left a half hour ago. Shortly thereafter I witnessed the same employee rudely raise her voice to an elderly woman. My jaw hit the floor. I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism I was witnessing. As long as I continue to see that employee behind the counter I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I thought switching to a small town pharmacy would be a better experience.. nope! This place does not answer their phone. It takes days to get through. They don't send a message when scripts are ready for pick up either. Drive thru is not available late afternoon when people get out of work so you are forced to go inside where I've seen the line over 10 people deep and ended up walking out. Ugh!

I LOVE shopping here! I recommend shopping here but absolutely not filling prescriptions here.I was in a pinch, having to call around to find a medication due to supply issues. I called around 2pm and was confirmed on 10/27 by phone that they could and would fill the medication and it would be ready by 4pm on 10/27. Great! My saving grace! …I thoughtI figured this morning I’d pick up groceries and head over. Well, I got notification this morning (10/28) that the med was filled elsewhere. I called Colonial Pharmacy to be sure it wasn’t a mistake, because I was confused. I had already called on 10/27 and was told the med would be filled at their location! When I called I was met with a person telling me this med could not be filled as it had been filled elsewhere. I expressed my confusion because the person I spoke to yesterday told me that it was all set! Again, I was met with the reason for their being unable to fill it. I wasn’t offered any advice or help. This is what I would expect from a big chain maybe, but I was so disappointed that a small town pharmacy didn’t communicate the change to me. I spoke to another pharmacy locally who was really helpful and kind despite not being able to fill the medication. I realize that med shortages are not the fault of the pharmacies or doctors, and I’m sure that there’s stress associated with that for pharmacies right now… kindness and communication were the difference between these 2 locations. It’s pretty frustrating that yesterday I was told it would be all set for pick up within 2 hours, and today… it’s not filled and “even if we could, we don’t have enough supply to fill the whole thing.” If it was simply missed when they went to fill it on their end due to overwhelm, a simple apology or a little empathy could have gone a long way. I’m less frustrated by the situation itself than the attitude I was met with when I called to ask about it. One person telling me it’s all set, and another behaving like it’s not their problem and I’m bothering them… so so disappointed.

I had tested positive for Covid at home in the morning and went online to see what options they were in the neighborhood for evaluation and treatment. Colonial pharmacy was mentioned as a place for test to treat. I drove over from Claremont with my son and went through the process of registering as a new client. It was a bit long but it went very efficiently and then I had a visit with the pharmacist Glenn Perrault which was highly professional. He demonstrated a caring attitude and was filled with good information and suggestions that I took to heart. The Whole experience was excellent and I would commend the pharmacy for the service and recommend them to anyone else.DomenicoMD visiting from Seattle

This pharmacy is a disorganized nightmare. They don't answer calls promptly. They don't call you if there is a problem with your prescription. And further, they are downright rude.
