“My family and I have been faithful US Cellular customers for over 17 years and when my iPhone 13 Pro was becoming harder and harder to charge reliably I visited the New London store on Jan 9, 2026 to inquire about an upgrade. While US Cellular (like most of the competition) places the needs of existing customers well behind those of prospective new customers (especially those switching from other carriers), the senior tech/manager on site, Jonathan, was very creative and figured out a way to adhere fully to company policies while enabling me to trade in my old phone for a new iPhone 17 Pro (at negligible additional monthly cost by adding a line, which actually gives me more flexibility going forward) that I am very satisfied with. The upgrade process proceeded far quicker than earlier experiences at other US Cellular stores. Throughout, Jonathan was very professional and personable and extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the process. I came into the store fully prepared to switch to another carrier in the event I was not able to upgrade, but Jonathan ensured I remained a US Cellular customer. Daisy, who was new and still training as a tech, we also very pleasant and helped the process along the way.”
