Food is pretty terrible. Service is friendly but inattentive. $3.25 for a dixi cup size soda no refills is obnoxious. $22 for chicken tenders. Sidewinder fries are tasty. Better off eating in the cafeteria or bringing your lunch. Avoid if you can

Food: I’ve only had their chicken wings. They’re decently sized, juicy, perfectly cooked. Doesn’t have to most selection for draft beers. But it’s a ski resort so I won’t be too critical.Atmosphere: Always very talented artist here on the weekends.Service:(Story time)The time was 1:15pm. I dropped off my board to get it waxed at the tuning shop downstairs, then headed upstairs to grab a beer.I have ordered a beer at the bar inside, and since it was nice out, I decided to sit at the picnic table on the patio outside. Not even 5 minutes later, an old blonde server came and told me I had to give up the table since I was only one person taking the entire picnic table, and that there were larger groups waiting for my table.I didn’t see any group waiting for a table outside, but since she was just doing her job, (as I’m sure she also want to wait larger parties to make more tips), I smiled, gave her the benefit of the doubt, nodded and agreed that I’ll just find a table inside. As it turned out, no one was actually waiting for a table outside. The next group (of 2 people) didn’t even sit down at that table until 30 minutes later. She essentially lied to a customer in order to make more tips. I understand ski season is short and she wants to make the most of it. But this is not the way to do it.What the waitress could’ve said was “You’re welcome to sit here for as long as you want, but since these are full-service tables and you ordered your beer at the bar, we’d have to ask you to kindly give up your table if a large group comes.” I would’ve gladly move, as that would’ve been a completely reasonable request. (There was no sign posted outside either.)With attitude and mindset like that, I don’t think she’d get very much tip anywayVery bad look on Goosefeathers

Something has changed... unfortunately. We ate lunch here nearly every weekend ski season 22-23, and had a blast. We are always a big group of parents with kids, typically 8-14 of us for lunch Saturday and Sunday. This year after trying it twice, we all agreed something has changed and been lost - the prices went up, the menu changed, and the kids menu shrunk to 2 items - now a chicken tender basket is $21 from the regular menu. Many of us were looking forward to meeting here all winter, but the vibe has changed, the crowd feels less kid friendly, and the cost is no longer worth it - it has left a bad taste in everyone's mouths and it's a huge bummer. Many of the waitstaff remain unchanged - and still as lovely as ever - I don't know if this was a Vail change, or new management... Really too bad. Used to be so convenient for our group, especially if someone wasn't skiing one day and still wanted to meet-up.

Average food, one waitress working on a packed day. Service was so slow that lunch took 2 hours. The waitress was overwhelmed and not completely to blame. Poor management.

Completely lacking in ambiance. I have been in friendlier school cafeterias.

Wings were ok. Service was good. Carrots and celery with wings a little too ripe.

We came at 5:00 for dinner, as the hours are listed 11am-6pm. Their kitchen was closed. Apparently they don’t serve food until 6pm. Please update your hours.

Food was good staff was friendly. I went for the bills game and it was a good time. Josh Allen played great I would recommend going for a bills game. The bills were up 17-0 at half and the people were excited with us. All in all it was a great game. 7/10 would come back to this place for a game.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were staying local and there really aren't a lot of options if you don't want to venture far. (Far for my husband and I is anything past a 5 mile radius.) we got in at about 6 on a Friday and we're seated immediately. The interior is cozy and the outside tables have little fires for heaters. The music is a reasonable level. Our waitress was extremely friendly and fast! Which is always a bonus for me because I usually order quickly. I always preview the menu before I go somewhere, it adds the excitement and I don't like surprises. Now let's get down to the food situation. I ordered the poutine and the bone in wings. My husband ordered the fish and chips. The poutine was delicious. The cheese curds melt into clumps which if you're a visual eater is eh.... But I don't discriminate so I feel cheese is cheese. Overall delicious. My wings came out hot and cooked throughly. They were very crispy and crunched when I bit in. Exactly how wings should be. They were served with a generous portion of ranch. My husband got the fish and chips. It was one long piece of haddock that was deep fried. The haddock was seasoned well and again, crispy to bite into. They have a great selection of local beers. Now for the disappointing part.... Your beer will be served in a Patriots glass and coming from FL and being a Bucs fan, this just wasn't acceptable. However, beer is beer so we stuck it out and sacrificed our team for the love of alcohol.

We came to this restaurant during a ski trip at Mt Sunapee. The selection and quality of food really surprised us. We ordered buffalo chicken wings, cheeseburger, and garden salad. The chicken wings were fried perfectly, not too dry. The cheeseburger is top notch delicious. The garden salad was fresh and tasty. We did not expect such tasty food at a busy ski resort, but goosefeathers pub exceeded our expectations. We would strongly recommend you dine in this place when you come for skiing. The service was a bit slow, but worked for us as we could sit down, rest, and relax while waiting for our food. If you are in a hurry, it may not be your best choice. Also, we would recommend to make reservations ahead of time because it could be very crowded during peak season. Our only complain is that WiFi did not work. we could not get any cellular signal inside the restaurant either. We basically had to step out of the restaurant and make phone calls or sending text messages, which made communications with our ski companions a bit challenging.
