I drive every couple of weeks for the pressure Fried Chicken. Now going on almost ten years. Not one time have I ever been disappointed. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. One time I'd had shoulder surgery In Stratham, so I got the chicken on the way home. Not exactly Chicken soup , but close enough to get me healthy.

Stopped to fill up gas this morning. Used the Shell app and set the limit to $30. Got out, put the pump in, put the lever down and let it start filling.(I clean my car windows and look for any trash to clean out to be time efficient while the gas is going)Have never had any issues doing this. It's twice a week at the same shell station and I've NEVER had a problem. One of the employees inside cancelled my transaction from their register screen and set the pump to stop when full. So when I look over at the pump, I'm being charged $55 dollars. I go inside to inquire what's gone wrong and according to the employees, there's nothing they can do. It's my fault and I'm being expected to pay them $55 out of pocket or else the police will be contacted. Terrible employees. Luckily, I had cash on me, and paid for the GAS STATIONS ERROR, but assuming I didn't have cash on me, then what ? This place needs to get better employees, people who actually care about their jobs rather than just working at a gas station lol.

I've been buying chicken here for years and years. It's flavorful, juicy and delicious. The potato wedges are very good also. I only had 1 dissatisfying experince in all these years and the next day the manager made it right and replaced the order. All around great food, and their sandwiches and coffee are very good too. Give it a try, don't drive by!

Staff friendly, gas a bit pricey, PROPANE available. Also, home of the locally famous Gas Station Chicken, which is crispy AND tender.

"What we have here is a problem in communication"!! Called to order chicken at 4:00PM for pick up at 5:30 PM, Sunday the 3rd of October. The order was confirmed. Arrived at 5:30 PM only to be told they had no chicken, the kitchen was closed and they tried to reach me to tell me this. I received no notification. Oh well, maybe their phone was out of order, yeah!!

I have lived in New Hampshire about two years and this place is on my way to work. I don't stop often because the traffic makes it dangerous to leave. But I recently had a sub there that was delicious. However, today I bought a few pieces of the self yourself pizza and you could use the crusts to drywall your basement. It was the worst pizza of its kind (gas station or ready to go) I have ever had.

Fried chicken is my passion. I'm a connoisseur. Ask anybody! Having tried it all on the greater Seacoast, I found it here last week at 10:30 a.m. Perfect coating, perfectly fried, perfect breakfast Had heard this gas station was harboring a "secret" and this friend chicken is it! Admittedly, I wasn't going for breakfast but happened by it at that time and loved every last, lickin' bite.

Traveling down Rt. 108 into Newfields, I stopped by the Shell station. I noticed signage at the other end of the building and Dan's Barber Shop and E-Z Way Cleaners, a dry cleaning business. All three businesses were especially handy for campers at nearby Great Bay Camping and other travelers. Inside, I found the take-out kitchen in the back. The menu had several categories of food that included breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold subs, slices of pizza, whole pizza, and several types of the fried chicken for which the Shell is well-known. The kitchen had a sizable pizza oven, a stove, and a flat-top grill. It was practically a full-service restaurant kitchen. This Shell was featured on WMUR TV’s March 8th “NH Chronicle” as one of two gas stations in the state that served great food. The Shell's fried chicken was featured. The fried chicken was available several ways: as a bucket or a meal with one's choice of breasts, tenders, etc. I decided on and ordered a 3-piece Chicken Tenders Meal at $6.99. It came with potato wedges. With 9% NH Meals Tax of 63 cents, the total $7.62. It took less than a minute to pack my order. I paid at the register up front. Service was great. The staff was friendly. I thought that overall pricing was good, too. Back at the house about 20 minutes later, the food was still warm enough so that I didn’t have to reheat it. The chicken was tasty, moist, and tender. Most importantly, the tenders were large hunks of REAL CHICKEN, not chopped and formed chicken patties. I tried both sauces with the very large tender I ate. The counterwoman had given me a sample of the Boom Boom Sauce, the house signature sauce. That was interesting. It was like Thousand Island Dressing with some sriracha and sweet chili sauce added to it. It was borderline medium on the heat scale. I preferred the Honey Mustard Sauce that I’d ordered. That had the tang of mustard and the hint of sweetness from the honey. The potato wedges were good but nothing exceptional. Everything was satisfactory. The chicken was definitely the star of the meal. It was delicious. I rate my experience at the Shell in Newfields at 4.25 – very close to my highest rating for fast food. I can recommend a visit for some take-out. As a footnote: I noted that breakfast is served all day. I love breakfast foods, especially eggs and English muffins. I’ll certainly be back for breakfast as well as more fried chicken tenders. Additionally, one could say that this is a hidden gem because, from the outside, one does not have a clue that a well-equipped kitchen inside is packing up a lot of different kinds of great food for take-out. Really glad the other reviewer didn't seem to have my experience here. Stopped in for gas and a coffee, ended up ordering food poisoning. I saw the grill in the back and thought, "No one can screw up a BLT, so why not?". This is me willfully ignoring the fact that, during peak COVID season, the woman making the sandwiches was incorrectly wearing her mask, fully nose-breathing on all the food she prepared. Twenty five minutes later, I opened my sandwich bag and smelled Chinese food. Specifically, the pink boneless pork strips that come with a Pu Pu Platter. Seeing as how I was now 1/7th of the way into my drive, I convinced myself that it was just the residue from a dirty grill. So, disturbing (stupid?) as it sounds, I choked down the sandwich - it was, after all, meant to be my lunch. It was the most disgusting BLT of my life, followed by a rare case of severe heartburn. You would think that said heartburn might be somewhat mitigated by the metric ton of bland bread that comprised 4/5ths of the meal, but you'd be wrong.Besides having a friend at my destination smell the empty bag (just to see his facial expression when he learned that a BLT produced that bouquet), I thought that was the end of it. I learned better, a couple hours later. If you've had food poisoning before, you know what came next, and I will spare you the grisly details. Needless to say, it was several days before I felt myself again, and the first half of my visit was a bust. The fact that my 12 oz. can of unsweetened, black coffee was $1 more than I have ever paid, anywhere else ($3.99, which I did not see until I viewed my receipt) was just another kick when I was already down. Screw this place.I liked, however, that they have a role of plastic bags by the pumps, eliminating the need to use a paper towel, when touching public surfaces. Though, all in all, I'd rather use the paper and not be poisoned.
