Typical Art and Craft chain store. Had everything I was looking for. One improvement would be do not insist on people using self checkout, I despise those things and find them impersonal. (I hate computers).

I love this place! And since it's basically the only craft store left you better go there frequently to keep it open! Everything from model rockets to dollhouses to art supplies to fabric. You really can't go wrong with Michaels

Michaels as a chain is mediocre but they do a great job in the frame shop. Kayleigh (I’m sure spelled it wrong) has been awesome every time I’ve worked with her. She is patient and creative and remembers me and the things I bring in. She is worked to the bone but she doesn’t let that show and takes her time to get me what I need. Please let corporate know.

Do you know that you're a craft store? Your employees don't seem to know. I specifically asked for tiny screw eyes. You said you don't have them in two of your stores but your advertising says you do.

I don’t even wish to give ONE star!Sooo terribly disappointed in the framing department. I did not receive what I ordered in a framed piece. Also, whatever was done to block this piece (that took me five months to create), the colors bled at the bottom. The salesperson, a young woman was extremely rude…very short with me and unapologetic. I will not enter the Newington Michael’s again.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. It felt like the cashier Anna was messing with me. I went to pick up an item I had already paid for. I told her I was running late but still waited 25 minutes to pick up my item because there was zero sense of urgency. Don’t expect any help when you enter that store if you get Anna.
