Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway is a popular year-round destination that offers fun activities for the whole family. In winter, visitors can enjoy skiing and snowboarding on well-maintained trails, though some reviews mention that the trails can be bumpy and not perfectly groomed. The resort also features a 10-lane tubing park, where guests can slide down in tubes, with some concerns about safety and the cost of a two-hour session, which is considered high by some visitors. The tubing area is busy, and safety issues have been noted, especially when families or individuals push the limits without proper supervision. During the summer, Cranmore transforms into an adventure park filled with exciting rides and attractions. Visitors can zoom down the Mountain Coaster, swing high on the Omega Swing, or zip across the Soaring Eagle Zip Line. The Mountain Adventure Park offers downhill mountain biking on a lift-serviced park and scenic chairlift rides up to the Summit Meister Hut, where panoramic views captivate guests. Many praise the scenic rides and the breathtaking views from the summit, making the experience memorable. The resort also offers lessons for beginners, with instructors like Ray providing helpful guidance that significantly improves skills and safety on the slopes. Families with children find the park enjoyable, with activities like inflatable slides and amusement rides included in a single ticket for the day. While most staff are friendly and attentive, some guests feel that staff at certain times could show more concern for safety and guest experience. Overall, Cranmore Mountain Resort provides a diverse range of activities that appeal to adventure seekers and families alike, with beautiful scenery and fun rides at its core.
This was my first time skiing, and I feel so lucky that we had a lesson with Matthew MacDonald. He is truly an excellent teacher—patient, encouraging, and clear in his instructions. My daughter and I both had such a wonderful experience learning from him. He made our first day on the slopes fun and unforgettable!
